When you watched Bixby wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK during his junior season, you could see flashes of a player that could be the next playmaker to come out of this Bixby offense. And Hogshooter carried that momentum into the offseason where he performed incredibly well every single time we saw him in person. And from there, we had no doubt that the Bixby senior would be the top target in this Spartan passing attack this season and that’s how it’s played out. Hogshooter is an example of a prospect who put in the work and waited for his opportunity and took full advantage. In the last few weeks, the Bixby standout committed to Houston.

Bixby senior wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK is going to be one of the best wide receivers in 6A-1 football this season. He took that first step last fall, becoming one of Bixby’s big threats in the passing game. Hogshooter was second on the team with eight receiving touchdowns and he has developed an outstanding connection with his quarterback over the last two offseasons. We were told before last season that Hogshooter could be a breakout player to watch within the Bixby offense and that certainly played out that way. Now, as we head into the 2024 season, Hogshooter has the potential to be arguably the most productive player in Bixby’s offense with his ability to make plays down the field.

It feels like every time we update the 2025 rankings, Bixby wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK moves further up list. And that’s because every time we see Hogshooter in person, he’s one of the more impressive athletes on the field. The Bixby standout enjoyed a breakout season last fall with the Spartans as their big play threat in the passing game. Now, Hogshooter is definitely in a position to be their leading receiver and have a dominant senior campaign. And he’s had that dominant part down all offseason. From the 7v7 circuit to spring ball and the camp circuit, Hogshooter has been a match-up nightmare in one on one situations and his recruitment has taken off because of it.

2025 wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK is going to be one of the top wide receivers in Class 6A-1 this fall. He enjoyed a breakout season last fall and we think he takes it to another level in 2024. Hogshooter was a match-up nightmare all day on Saturday. There weren’t many defenses that had the ability to defend his long frame and that became a big problem in jump ball situations. We lost count of how many times he just ran a go pattern and they tossed it up to him and he went up and plucked it out of the air with a defender draped on him. He is having an outstanding offseason on the 7v7 circuit, looks like he’s added weight and is a big target.

Back in August, we were told about Bixby wide receiver Blake Hogshooter Blake Hogshooter 6'4" | 190 lbs | WR Bixby | 2025 State OK as being a player who could be a breakout player for the Spartans on offense. Hogshooter would end up being one of Bixby’s top options in the passing game and a big play threat down the field. With Bixby losing some of their top receivers in terms of production, we see Hogshooter taking a giant leap in terms of production and becoming one of the top wide receivers in Class 6A-1. The Bixby receiver has a good frame and is getting better and better each time we see him in person. He’s going to be an intriguing prospect to follow throughout the spring and summer.
