We round out the Top 10 available seniors with another member of this loaded TE class. Bennett fits the mold of your traditional TE. One that will offer you a receiving threat and will also give you the bonus of having an extra OL on the field. Bennett played alongside arguably the OL in WI in 2024, and was able to go step for step with then when it came to driving defenders off the ball and out of gaps. The senior shows consistent hand placement, leverage, and a lower body loaded with power. Then you let the kid get out in the passing game and his size and power are too much for most DBs and LBs as he is able to box out opponents to bring in the pass. Teams looking for an inline, traditional TE need to start right here.

The blocking category was the easiest one to select. Bennett has made himself synonymous with the term blocking. For the past couple years the TE has given Bay Port essentially a 6th OL to collapse DEs inside or get to the second level or drive his DL off the ball. Bennett has a strong blend of power and athleticism and that allows him to overwhelm and also with the leverage battle vs the DL. Bennett also offers a receiving threat, and fits the role of the traditional TE who can help in the run and pass game.

Another standout TE that I was very excited to watch live was Bay Port’s Bennett Deppeler Bennett Deppeler 6'3" | 230 lbs | TE Bay Port | 2025 State WI . The 6’3″ 230 lbs athlete delivered a strong performance. It wasn’t on the receiving end, though. Bennett did his damage in the run game as an inline blocker. Bennett is a big, strong, athletic TE prospect who excels in the run game. He is quick off the line and quick to get his strong hands onto his opponent. His leg drive once engaged proved to be strong as he was able to create that positive flow you look for. He worked very well with the OL in getting that positive movement as one unit. Bennett fits the mold of the old-school, traditional TE that can be an impact in the run game just as much as the pass game, if not more. Don’t miss out on the uncommitted senior talent.

Stock Rise: #114 to #87
Bennett is an exciting prospect because he has proven that he deserves this pump in the rankings, and I believe he is still due to breakout this season. The 6’3″ 230 lbs TE is a strong athlete that is very well put together. His frame will be able to continue to grow and fill out at the next level, maximizing his current strengths on the field even farther. On the field it can’t be overlooked how much of an impact he makes as a blocker. He truly is that extra lineman in the formation with his strong upper and lower body as he moves DL off the ball. Bennett is able to attack level two with quickness and power as soon as he makes contact. The breakout will come in the passing game. The size mismatch is there, the athleticism to get up the seam and win in the short/intermediate levels is there. Plus he has a talented QB to work with. The tools are there to be a high impact, three down, traditional TE. Keep your eyes on this kid.

Bennett has been on a tear this offseason. He has been putting in the work, showcasing a 520 lbs squat. The offers have been coming in from Bemidji State, Concordia- St. Paul, and UW- Oshkosh. The 6’4″ 230 lbs ’25 has definitely built a frame that can handle the wear and tear of the next level. In 2023 Bennett was utilized a ton as a blocker in the run game. That allowed him to prove that he can handle that responsibility. Bennett is explosive on contact, has the agility to sustain his blocks as he drives them off the line, and will finish a block to the ground every chance he gets. That blocking impact has helped his receiving game too. We see him use a delayed release that allowed him to get wide open for a score on tape.
