Andrew Bishop Andrew Bishop 6'3" | 210 lbs | DL/ATH Hewitt-Trussville | 2025 AL was a dominant player for Hewitt Trussville’s defensive front over the last few years, making huge plays against some of the state’s most talented offenses. Bishop does a great job controlling the line of scrimmage- with his size and strength he gets terrific penetration, consistently closing up rushing lanes and affecting the passing game every down. Bishop is an excellent tackler, he does a great job wrapping up the ball carrier and never allows for any additional yardage after he makes first contact. It’s really impressive seeing what Bishop can do on passing downs, he generates great pressure on the interior and frequently gets his hands on the QB- either forcing them into bad decisions or bringing them down for a sack. Bishop is now at Newberry College where he’s set to make a huge impact on their defense, be sure to keep track of his collegiate career, it’s going to be exciting to watch!
