Morgantown returns the top specialist in the state in our eyes and an early leader for the Fulton Walker Award as the top special teams player in West Virginia. Stire made his commitment to the home Mountaineers in July as a PWO with real potential to eventually earn a scholarship in the future, especially with the expanded scholarship roster changes that are coming. He can do it all for the Mohigans and handled all punting and kicking duties as a junior excelling in each phase of them. Stire is as complete of a specialist prospect as you’re going to find in West Virginia and a very versatile athlete who you can trust to execute any kick or punt situation.
Stire will be a must-watch this season if you appreciate the special teams side of the game as our #1 kicker in the 2025 class.

Specialists receiving offers especially this early in the recruiting process is always a tricky and divisive subject in the football world, but 2025 Morgantown K/P Aidan Stire Aidan Stire 6'0" | 185 lbs | K Morgantown | 2025 State WV is deserving of D1 offers. He’s ranked as our #1 kicker in the class for a reason and arguably the most versatile specialist in the state. Stire has been on countless college visits during his high school career so he’s certainly on their radars and being heavily monitored. We expect him to eventually end up at one of the D1 levels by the time Signing Day comes around as a scholarship prospect or PWO depending on how colleges value their specialist recruits. Stire is rated as a 4.5 star by the prestigious Chris Sailer Kicking which they label a future “FCS Freshman Year Starter, Scholarship Pick or FBS PWO” and aligns with our thinking of him from what we’ve seen so far during his career.
If Stire takes the next step in his development over the off-season heading into his senior year, he can bolster his prospect status even further for colleges and continue to prove why he’s our top specialist in the 2025 class. Look for him to be in the running for the Fulton Walker Award as the state’s top specialist in 2024 too.

Another big mover in our 2025 Rankings in the specialist group was Morgantown K/P Aidan Stire Aidan Stire 6'0" | 185 lbs | K Morgantown | 2025 State WV who is now considered a Top 20 player in the state and the #1 ranked specialist in the class. Stire is a no-doubt D1 prospect in my opinion and had a very good season in all phases of special teams for the Mohigans. He converted on 34/35 PATs and had a touchback on 39/50 kickoffs during his junior season. Stire is also a very good punter who averaged just under 42 yards per punt in 2023. He has by far the strongest leg I’ve seen in the 2025 class and is as well-rounded of a specialist as you’re going to find in WV.
