Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
I watched Bidanis compete at the Back2Ballin 7-on-7 tournament around this time a year ago. An impressive showing led me to looking forward for another scout during the 2025 season. Unfortunately, the Iowa City High junior broke his leg in the third game of the season, and I didn’t see the Little Hawks until they faced Norwalk later in the year. In that short time, Bidanis 8.5 tackles, seven of which were solo stops. He also hauled in a couple of passes. We can catch him in abbreviated action during his 11th-grade highlight video. Bidanis flashes upside as a receiver suited for the slot, where he can make defenders miss in space. The film is even more impressive when he lines up at cornerback. He sticks in coverage with fluid movements and an ability to change directions quickly. His quickness aids him in closing on the ball, and he uses his hands effectively without drawing a flag. The injury cost Bidanis exposure for recruiting, but smart coaches will be on him when he has a chance to break out in the fall.
