Malaki took over the top DL spot in PRZ NV’s 2027 rankings after transferring in from Hawaii’s St. Louis program. He’s an athletic disruptor at 6’2″/240 that can make an impact from an inside or outside alignment with the power and explosiveness he brings to the table. He’s a high motor defender, shows his strength and leverage driving OL off the ball, and holds up well in the run game. He’s efficient and technically-sound as a block shedder and can retrace and track the ball down with the speed and range he possesses. Malaki holds offers from Hawaii and Washington St. and should be one of the biggest impact transfers in Vegas this fall.

Hawaii – Hailing from a state that is traditionally full of big, athletic bodies, Malaki is a two-way lineman I really like. Obviously an offer at this point would be tough given he’s only 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, but out of all the Hawaiin prospects I’ve seen in the 2027 class, I think there’s a lot to work with here.

Rocco is a big 6’2 offensive and defensive linemen coming out of Hawaii. Rocco’s explosive nature makes him an absolute force on the football field on both sides of the ball. Defensively, he is often found breaking into the backfield before the play ever gets a chance to get going. Rocco does a phenomenal job of using his hands to destruct blocks and make plays on the ball carrier, with one of this favorite moves being the shock and shed technique. With good speed in the trenches, Rocco also is capable of rushing the passer at an elite level. Rocco has no problem pressuring the quarterback and forcing him to make decisions much sooner than he is comfortable with and leads to poor or disrupted passes. Offensively, he move very well and shows off quick/active feet in pass protection. His longer arms also help him keep speedy, and rushing Edge defenders at bay.
