Long Beach Poly class of 2026 quarterback Deuce Jefferson Deuce Jefferson 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Long Beach Poly | 2026 State CA announced his commitment to Navy on Tuesday.
Jefferson threw for 183 yards per game with 13 touchdowns and ran for a touchdown for Long Beach Poly in seven games this season.
He was committed to Weber State in July but withdrew his commitment on the early signing day, Dec. 3. Jefferson also had offers from Eastern Washington, Portland State and Air Force among others.

Jefferson threw for 183 yards per game with 13 touchdowns and ran for 239 yards with a score in seven games for Long Beach Poly last season.
He goes through his progressions well and has the arm strength to throw on the run late in plays. Jefferson is accurate on deep throws outside the numbers and can fit the ball in tight spaces. He was committed to Weber State but withdrew his commitment in December.

Jefferson threw for 2159 yards with 19 touchdowns for Poly last season and ran for four touchdowns.
He also had offers from Air Force, Navy and Portland State. Jefferson is the fourth player from California in Weber State’s 2026 recruiting class and the first quarterback.

He is a really good athlete who is dangerous on QB draws and uses that athleticism to buy time when the play breaks down. Jefferson is a good off-platform thrower with some arm strength and is accurate on deep balls outside the numbers. He landed his first offer from Air Force on Thursday.
