Ellinger is a guy I have enjoyed covering over time because as an athlete, Ellinger plays with a lot of swag, energy and a level of fearlessness that helps him succeed on the gridiron. Ellinger is very good at the DB position but can be placed anywhere the coach wants him to be depending on the game situation. Ellinger is a hard worker and a guy I expect to have a very strong off-season to jump start his high school career in the 2029 class. I expect Ellinger to be a playmaker at the high school level!

Ellinger has tremendous ball skills at the corner position. He has great ability to play man or in zone coverage and still be a very effective threat. On the other side of the ball, offensively, Ellinger is very shifty and can hit seems quickly. He has sure hands out of the backfield, and you can utilize Ellinger out of the slot position when needed.
