Chaparral is a young team that looked solid at the South County passing tournament two weeks ago. Click here for a recap of who played well for the Pumas in that event.

CORONA DEL MAR

Corona del Mar competed at the Brave Invitational at St. John Bosco two weeks ago. Max Nashed and [player_tooltip player_id='1715179' first='Brady' last='Annett'] will likely both see reps at quarterback. The Sea Kings have two big tight ends in Stanford commit [player_tooltip player_id='347158' first='Zach' last='Giuliano'] and Sebastien Boydell. [player_tooltip player_id='1000923' first='Dorsett' last='Stecker'] is a very good returning receiver and Breck Clemmer got some playing time last season. Wyatt Lucas is a returning running back and Brady Gadol is a good returning defensive back.

MILLIKAN

Millikan lost some talent but has some good returners mixed with impactful transfers. San Diego State commit [player_tooltip player_id='282737' first='JP' last='Mialovski'] is back at quarterback for the Rams. They added transfers from Los Alamitos like Cal commit [player_tooltip player_id='1203247' first='Anthony' last=''] League and Arizona commit [player_tooltip player_id='282763' first='Joshua' last='Tuchek']. [player_tooltip player_id='1182931' first='Jude' last='Nelson'] is a promising junior receiver with an offer from Arizona State.

CAPO VALLEY

Capo Valley has been very active on the passing league circuit and was nearly a semifinalist at the South County passing tournament. They have two quality quarterbacks in [player_tooltip player_id='595827' first='Tommy' last='Acosta'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1197373' first='Talon' last='Spencer']. The skill players are mostly two-way players with lots of versatility. Click here to read about Capo's performance in the South County tournament.

CLOVIS NORTH

Clovis North reached the CIF championship last season and lost to De La Salle. The Broncos are a running team led by [player_tooltip player_id='1645738' first='Jackson' last='Cinfel'] and state champion track and field thrower [player_tooltip player_id='1158498' first='McKay' last='Madsen']. Madsen is one of the top defensive players in the state. Clovis is one of the few teams not from Southern California competing and it will be interesting to see them against the best teams in Southern California.

INGLEWOOD

Inglewood has a new transfer quarterback in [player_tooltip player_id='406730' first='Kingston' last='Tisdell'] from Birmingham, a Weber State commit. [player_tooltip player_id='283693' first='Victor' last='Santino'] is one of the best junior running backs in the area who may be tasked with making receptions out of the backfield. [player_tooltip player_id='1158480' first='Ray' last='Gilbert'] is a receiver with an offer from Washington State and [player_tooltip player_id='406705' first='Kevin' last='Jennett'] is a talented receiver. [player_tooltip player_id='282773' first='Venilaite' last='Wolfgramm'] is one of the better linebackers in the area and [player_tooltip player_id='1158485' first='Lucien' last='Holland'] is committed to Boise State. Their lengthy pair of sophomore cornerbacks [player_tooltip player_id='819582' first='Jacob' last='Whitehead'] and [player_tooltip player_id='415359' first='Jailen' last='Hill'] are blue chippers who I'm excited to watch Saturday.

LIBERTY

Liberty of Bakersfield has competed in this tournament before and played pretty well. The Patriots don't have a returning quarterback with varsity experience but Bakersfield Christian quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1060927' first='Jeremy' last='Kenney'] transferred in. Brock Wattenberger is a returning receiver for Liberty and Jalen Murphy is a key returner at running back. Daviyon Day Jr. led the team in interceptions last season and Wade Brogdon is a two-way guy.

CATHEDRAL CATHOLIC

Cathedral Catholic is one of the better teams in San Diego and benefitted greatly from a bunch of transfers from St. Augustine. [player_tooltip player_id='1000878' first='Brady' last='Palmer'] is one of the top quarterbacks in San Diego and has an offer from Ohio State. [player_tooltip player_id='1084696' first='Hunter' last='Harrington'] is a receiver with an offer from Washington State. [player_tooltip player_id='1182932' first='Parker' last='“PJ” Johnson'] is a very good junior receiver and [player_tooltip player_id='1203247' first='Anthony' last=''] Taylor is a senior receiver. [player_tooltip player_id='1197204' first='Honor' last='Faalave'] was an MVP at the National Preps Showcase and [player_tooltip player_id='1362381' first='Josh' last='Faraimo'] is a potential blue chip prospect.

NARBONNE

Narbonne may be back to being the top team in the City Section. They added Newport Harbor quarterback and Oklahoma commit [player_tooltip player_id='401257' first='Jaden' last='O'Neal'] who has won pretty much every award this offseason. He has quality targets in [player_tooltip player_id='401302' first='Xavier' last='Owens'] and [player_tooltip player_id='780318' first='Allen' last='Blaylock'].
CHARTER OAK

Charter Oak made a late playoff run last season and has a lot of returners. Boston College commit [player_tooltip player_id='1182939' first='Corin' last='Berry'] is back at quarterback for his junior season. His top targets will be Minnesota commit [player_tooltip player_id='1338365' first='Legend' last='Lyons'] and Ontario Christian transfer [player_tooltip player_id='723863' first='Marquis' last='Bradley']. Sean Munoz is a talented returning receiver.
