Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Faraimo is a really good athlete who shined on both sides of the ball. There was a play where Carlsbad attempted a bubble screen and Faraimo got full arm extension on his blocker and washed the play out of bounds for a loss.
Offensively, he had two big catches on the game-winning drive and showed off his strong hands in traffic.

Faraimo announced his commitment to Washington St. on Monday. The Cougars were the first program to offer the versatile defender last year and has been one of the biggest recruiting risers in recent months adding seven D-I offers since March. He’s an athletic S/LB that can play in space and make physical tackles around the LOS with the speed and instincts he brings to the table. Faraimo chose Washington St. over other offers from Boise St., Air Force, and most recently Wyoming.

Faraimo added a pair of Mountain West offers from Hawaii and Boise St. in March. The rising junior safety out of Cathedral Catholic is a physical defender that can align as a two-deep S and make aggressive tackles around the LOS. Packs great size and power as a tackler behind his 6’1-2″/200 frame. Fariamo holds other offers from Washington St., San Diego St., and Northern Arizona.
All glory to God. After a great meeting with @Coach_SD and @CoachCollins46, I’m extremely thankful to say, I have received my 4th Division l offer to play football at Boise State University!!#gobroncos pic.twitter.com/MnR2uUm6Cc

Faraimo is good athlete in the secondary that is equally effective in run support as he is in coverage. Shows great range from the safety spot to close ground and recover. Good length and strength in his frame at 6’1” 200 lbs. with good natural athleticism and body control. Like his key and play diagnosis skills to read and react to run/pass. He’s got good instincts and anticipation to get an early break on the ball and close space. Strong open field tackler that can break down and bring strong contact. Good ability to play as a deep safety or come down in the box or the slot to cover or fill as a run stopper. Plays hard with good toughness, aggression, and physicality. Major D1 prospect with good upside and potential holding offers from Washington State, San Diego State, and Northern Arizona.
