It was an up-and-down night for Palmer who had two ugly interceptions in the first half. He was nearly perfect in the second half and the touchdown pass to Cook on 4th down was one of the plays of the year.

Palmer engineered the game-winning touchdown drive with some strong intermediate level throws. He was running for his life for much of the first half and showed good athleticism escaping the pocket.

The Golden Bears are getting one of the most talented passers in the state and a proven leader that took a young St. Augustine team to the state regionals as a sophomore and put together another successful season in his first campaign with Cathedral Catholic this past fall.
