After much deliberation and hours of watching game tape, I'm excited to roll out the initial Top 25 rankings for the Class of 2027. We looked through hundreds of player profiles and compiled a list of 290 prospects combined in our rankings and watchlist. The Class of 2027 is shaping up to be another elite group of prospects, with three players already holding Power 4 offers before their sophomore season even starts. You'll definitely want to start paying attention to these guys ASAP!

The evaluation process at this stage in prospect's careers is still very tricky, with players scattered through varsity, JV, and freshman levels of play and varying sample sizes for playing time. As a result, player projections still play a solid role when evaluating prospects. Varsity playing time is another big factor that is taken into consideration.

There were several prospects in play for the #1 overall spot, but eventually, Omaha Central's [player_tooltip player_id='422820' first='Tory' last='Pittman III']'s massive potential on both sides of the ball put him over the top. In his freshman season, Tory recorded 34 tackles, a TFL, a sack, and two interceptions, both of which were returned for touchdowns. Tory's tremendous freshman season earned him his first three Power 4 offers from Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Southern California. A great start for one of the state's brightest young stars.

Hot on Tory's heels is rising Omaha Westside QB [player_tooltip player_id='487734' first='Braylen' last='Warren'], who is set to take over the QB1 duties for the Warriors in the fall. With it now being Braylen's time to shine, we'll get to see the elite arm talent that earned him a Power 4 offer from Iowa State at a recent camp.

Our Class of 2027 list of prospects features 290 players in our rankings and watchlist from all over the state and in all classifications.

This is just a reminder to players who did not make the rankings or did not agree with their rankings: Nothing is set in stone at this point in your prep careers. The rankings will change several times from now until the end of the year, allowing for several opportunities to make your presence known.

The best ways to get on our radar and ensure you get added to our list at the next update include putting out a season tape (a few clips work, but they will still only give us a small sample), attending college camps, and big performances in other events like 7v7, passing league, etc.
