is an interesting player who we were previously looking at as an RB, but is coming off a great season at defensive end for the Bearcats. Adrick ended his junior season with 49 tackles, eight TFLs, and three sacks. Adrick displayed a versatile skill set, playing with his hand in the dirt or as a stand-up edge rusher, showing he can get off the ball quickly regardless of his start. Once he explodes out of his stance, Adrick is quick to shoot his hands to quickly disengage from blockers and continue his pursuit. Teichmeier also plays with heavy hands at the point of contact and possesses the power in his base to drive his opponents off their spot. Great lateral explosiveness gives him the burst to track down ball carriers, even when coming off the play’s backside. Teichmeier’s motor was also very impressive as he seemed to run at full speed from snap to whistle on every play. Adrick carried the ball 22 times for 123 yards and four touchdowns, so we could still see him take on an RB1 role for the Bearcats this season. Don’t sleep on this baller!

Adrick is a player who I believe could make a splash this season in the Bearcats’ backfield. The incoming sophomore is an absolute handful to try and tackle with his big 6’2″ and 205-pound frame. Teichmeier is at his best when he can run the ball between the tackles and pound away at defenses. Even as a taller back, Adrick showed that he runs with good pad level and can drop the shoulder to lay out defenders when needed. I also really like Adrick’s burst as he clears the second level of the defense and finds the open field, showing off some nice acceleration past defenders. Teichmeier’s vision also allows him to quickly find open lanes. At our PRZ showcases, Adrick looked great as a pass catcher coming out of the backfield. There is lots of upside on the defensive side of the ball as well. Don’t be surprised when Adrick turns into a high-level recruit.

Teichmeier possesses a large and imposing frame for a freshman, indicating his potential for physical development and strength gains as he matures. He has above-average speed, particularly noticeable when making cuts. Teichmeier is an exciting prospect for the Bearcats. With continued development and experience, he has the potential to emerge as a standout player in the team’s offensive strategy. Keep an eye on his progress as he navigates his freshman year and beyond.

looks like the headliner in a great crop of Kearney freshmen. At 6’1″ and 190 pounds, Adrick already displays great size for a next-level back with the intensity and motor to match. When watching Adrick’s tape, I noticed how well he sees the field and his ability to follow blocks/find creases in the defense. Adrick is a versatile runner who can pound away at defenses between the tackles or he can bounce the ball to the outside with a nice burst and acceleration to rip off long gains. Uses effective cuts to evade defenders. Very physical player who is going to make you fight for every tackle— uses stiff arms, drops pads, etc. The Bearcats look set at RB for the next few seasons with Adrick toting the rock.
Adrick is already signed up for the Prep Redzone Stock Up showcase, so I am looking forward to seeing how he performs there.
