Hastings St. Cecilia’s Andrej Sabatka Andrej Sabatka 6'4" | 250 lbs | EDGE/TE Grand Island Central Catholic | 2027 State NE is one of the more intriguing prospects in this recruiting cycle as he has seemingly done it all on the field, including defense, pass-catching, rushing, and blocking. As a junior, Sabatka finished the year with 143 rushing yards, 109 receiving yards, a rushing touchdown, 48 tackles, 14 TFLs, and 3.5 sacks. Andrej has been gaining momentum on the recruiting trail with offers from North Dakota State and South Dakota. He has also been in contact with or visited programs such as South Dakota State, Minnesota, North Dakota, and Tulsa.

Hastings St. Cecilia’s Andrej Sabatka Andrej Sabatka 6'4" | 250 lbs | EDGE/TE Grand Island Central Catholic | 2027 State NE was a player who easily could’ve made the rankings list as either an offensive or defensive lineman. The tape is somewhat limited, but there is still a lot to like about the towering prospect. Andrej has the size, 6’5″ and 225 pounds, and the lengthy, athletic frame that projects well to the collegiate level. He uses his long reach to keep defenders at bay while also using it to create separation from blockers at the line of scrimmage. Sabatka displays good lateral mobility and quickness which helps him move into the second level to clear out defenders. Very physical at the point of attack with excellent “pop” with his hands and great leg drive. Andrej’s versatility shined through on defense as he was lined up at both defensive end and tackle, looking natural in both spots. Don’t sleep on the sophomore from St. Cecilia!
