is a player who’s been high on our 2027 board since emerging on our radars as a freshman. As a sophomore, Wyatt showed his upside as a dual-threat QB with his 937 passing yards, 1,258 rushing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, and 19 rushing touchdowns in his first season with the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders. From a physical standpoint, Wyatt possesses the prototypical measurables that coaches look for in their QBs, standing at 6’5″ and 215 pounds with solid length and some room to continue filling out his frame. One part of Wyatt’s game that stands out immediately is his poise in the pocket, displaying excellent mobility to maneuver his way around pass rushers and extend plays when he’s forced out. Frey showed the arm strength to drive his passes into tight windows and deliver an accurate deep ball. Wyatt also showed good timing with his throws, trusting his receivers to get to their spot and his accuracy to hit them right in stride. Very tough runner who can absorb contact and keep fighting for additional yardage after the first hit. Wyatt was also a stud on the defensive side of the ball, leading the Raiders with 92 tackles, four TFLs, a sack, and an impressive six interceptions (two pick-sixes). Solid prospect who is sure to draw collegiate attention sooner rather than later.
