Lewis, ranked as one of the best TE prospects in Tennessee, was an exciting watch and easily fit the billing of an FBS TE talent. He did the typical job of a TE in 7v7, settling down and boxing out to offer an easy target for the QB. He just did it better than anyone else, thanks to his frame, spatial awareness, and hands. He flashed some wiggle in space, but he doesn’t even need to separate that much. His hands are fantastic, both in and out of his frame, and he is a workhorse that powers through routes. I will be checking back in on Lewis over his senior year.
