At 6'2" and 200 pounds, the multi-sport athlete has the strongest arm in this class, made evident by a fastball that's been clocked at 89 mph. The Ironmen have D1 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='1907950' first='Carson' last='Schoen'] locked in as the day one starter, in addition to Soph. His size and athletic ability check the boxes, standing 6'2" and 165 pounds while also excelling in track. He was a big reason for the success of the Carteret Bulldogs Pop Warner program in 2025 and will now add that ability to an already deeply-talented 2030 class at Shabazz. The 6'1", 160-pounder has been clocked with a fastball at 75 mph. DePoder was QB1 for a Gloucester City Mustangs program that brought home and SJIYFA Championship in 2025. Bienko was an NJSYFL All-Star in 2025 and his body is now catching up with his football IQ and decision making, having gown three inches and put on 15-20 pounds. Brooks has a frame and a raw skill set that is really intriguing, as he stands right around 6'2", 165 pounds and brings dual-threat ability. Easley is a dual-threat QB that also plays Linebacker on the defensive side of the ball. For his efforts during the 2025, as an 8th grader, he was named the Hackensack Jr. Comets Player of the Year. In 2025 he served as QB1 on an NBJFL Championship-winning Ridgewood team, but was also seemingly a double digit-a-game tackling machine at Linebacker. Also regarded as a stud on the baseball diamond, I think taking a wait and see approach is best here.
