Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Here is a snippet on Hoerst, who I highlighted as a top performer from day 1:
“Hoerst, coming down from NJ, is a really fun player to watch and sounds D1 alarms as a QB. He is all of 6’4 200, and is built into that with a cut physique. He has an easy buzz on the ball, spinning it beautifully down the field. He did that with a quick, compact delivery around his ear, so he got the ball out even quicker. Again, not much to overthink here. He is a big, well-built QB prospect with a quick release and beautiful spin on the ball.”

Frank was a big time performer all weekend for Team G Force and a key reason for their playoff run to the championship. One of it not the top 15 U QB on the weekend, Frank has great size & build for a freshman QB. Standing all of 6’4″ 200+ with a powerful arm. He shows good pocket mechanics, setting his feet and stepping into his throws. Frank has a live arm and showed the ability to make high levels. With a powerful arm to bomb it deep for big plays, while also throwing darts down the seam & to the outside with good zip/spin.
From what I saw this weekend it is no surprise Frank is already getting strong interest from P4 Colleges. He looks to be on pace to be a top QB in NJ for his class, as well as a highly rated recruit for years to come.

is one of the hottest young quarterback prospects in the state. At 6’4”, 200 pounds, he looks the part and just finished his first full varsity season.
What stands out is his pocket presence. He stands tall, gets the ball out on time, and doesn’t hold it unnecessarily. He moves through progressions quickly and makes decisive reads. That processing speed shows up snap after snap.
Hoerst can also push the ball downfield. He balances taking what the defense gives him with attacking vertically. His arm strength allows him to fit throws into tight windows, and he’ll use his legs when lanes open.
He’s still developing, but the upside is clear. After earning an offer from Syracuse at a 7-on-7 camp, his profile is already rising. With another offseason and year of growth, Hoerst is positioned to climb rankings and turn a lot of heads next season.

A Quarterback blessed with great size at 6-foot-3 and 185-pounds, as of August 2024. If success on the pre-high school means anything, he’s a QB to get familiar with. Helped Woodstown win a championship last fall season (2023) and then followed it up with an NFL Flag Natty in the winter of 2024.

We’ve talked about a QB from “down the shore” in Monmouth County and we’ve talked about a QB from the hotbed of Bergen County in North Jersey, now we hit Salem County in Southwest Jersey for field general,

. One of the tallest QBs in this 2029 class, Hoerst is nearly 6-foot-3 and 185-pounds. Over the last calendar year, he’s worked and established himself as a winner in the state and has proven it time and time again. Last season he helped lead the Woodstown Pirates to a Tri-County United Football League title and then went on to QB the JTF Jets to an NFL Flag National Title. Hoerst, who was likely the youngest on the field last year, was playing 12U football and made the decision to reclass back to the 2029 class ahead of this upcoming season. Look for Hoerst and his right arm to let it fly in 2024.
