A smooth Quarterback who can make plays happen out of nothing. Does a nice job of throwing on the run and delivering the ball where it needs to be.

The unquestioned vocal leader of the Flight Academy Chargers 8th Grade team came from QB Carmelo Thompson Carmelo Thompson Carmelo Thompson 5'8" | 135 lbs | QB/DB St. Thomas Aquinas | 2030 NJ . When the General barked out orders, the troops followed orders. Thompson got everyone into line for warmups, counted out stretches and appeared to be a true liaison between coaching staff and his guys. He has some room to improve his build physically, but his talent is there. I’ve seen him play Defensive Back before this tournament and I think there’s a chance that DB ultimately becomes his primary position. His ability to see the field on both sides of the ball as both a QB and DB is big plus.
