A Tier 1 Quarterback in the New Jersey 2030 class, via Prep Redzone Next as of August 2026.

As is the case with several of the Tier 1 Quarterbacks in this New Jersey 2030 class, DePoder is not only a name to know at QB, but also on the baseball diamond. The 6’1″, 160-pounder has been clocked with a fastball at 75 mph. DePoder was QB1 for a Gloucester City Mustangs program that brought home and SJIYFA Championship in 2025. He’s off to Gloucester Catholic where the Rams went 0-11 last year and 2-7 the year prior.

In preparation for last month’s Prep Redzone Next Middle School Camp in New Jersey, I was watching film of eventual camp-standout Offensive LinemAn Keith O’Donnell Keith O’Donnell 6'3" | 275 lbs | OL/DL Gloucester City | 2030 State NJ when I saw Gabriel DePoder Gabriel DePoder 6'1" | 160 lbs | QB Gloucester Catholic | 2030 NJ on film. Looking closer, I instantly saw a Quarterback prospect with a good frame and live right arm that delivered an accurate football. Upon reaching out to him and learning more about the prospect, DePoder is also a talented pitcher who recently hit 78 mph on the bump. The righty was a big reason for the Mustangs SJIYFA Championship in 2025, as they outscored opponents 222 – 71 on the year.
