CJ is a big presence on the field. Easily the most physically developed QB in attendance for 14u, CJ let the ball fly all tournament long with his big arm capabilities. The thing with Harm Elite G Force is that their team has so much speed, CJ can dial up a deep shot and there is a high chance his vertical route is going to outrun the coverage and come down with it. I thought CJ made great decisions as well during the tournament, rarely forcing a throw into a bad area. He showed precision in his throws as well, sneaking it into tight windows when there were no easy throws to make.

CJ reminds me a lot of a quarterback I’ve covered multiple times this offseason- Brady Williams Brady Williams 6'4" | 228 lbs | QB/ATH Rumson-Fair Haven | 2028 NJ from RFH. Both have got a big, thick frame and some really easy velocity with a smooth release. Prototypical, “tall, rocket arm, looks good in shorts” quarterbacks. This size at his age is super impressive, and he’s only going to put more muscle on his frame. I thought he had some inconsistent throws, but he’s got a lot of time to shore up his footwork over the next few seasons and really take his game to the next level. All the intangibles are there.

CJ is another quarterback I evaluated coming out of the Jersey Shore NJ AYF All-Star tryouts, and he’s a player who immediately stands out from a physical standpoint. As one of the tallest and more physically developed quarterbacks on the field, his presence is hard to miss and gives him a natural advantage heading into the Who’s Next event. He flashes a high ceiling with plenty of untapped potential, including the tools for a big arm, as his development will continue to hinge on refining his mechanics. While I haven’t seen him perform live since September, there’s a strong chance he’s put in the work since then, and I fully expect him to show out at the event.
