2027s Who Have Raised Their Stock This Summer

It is the chance to compete vs their peers in front of college coaching staffs and scouts and prove their superior talent. Here at PRZ WI we use this time to get an updated look at athletes in our rankings to see who needs to be moved up our boards. After several Mega Camps and other prospect camps it is clear that there are going to be plenty of well deserved movements and adjustments for some game-changing athletes in the Class of 2027. In the rest of this article we are going to talk about why these athletes have earned a stock bump.    June was a fantastic month for the West Bend West standout edge defender. Coming into the summer it was clear that the 2027 had the size for the position and could impact the game on the edge with his violent strength. However, this summer he proved to be a much more well rounded player. Yes he piled up wins with that explosive power, but he also tested really well athletically and showed that he could win reps with quickness and agility. His hot month earned him offers from Western Illinois, Duluth, Eau Claire, Upper Iowa, Bemidji State, Augustana, Winona State, and St. Thomas. Colton left no doubt that he was a top edge in the Class of 2027 and should find himself well within our Top 100 following our next update.     Liam has put on a show this summer and spring, going beyond just the month of June. The dynamic defensive playmaker not only tested exceptionally well, he did it repeatedly leaving no doubts that the gifts are legitimate. If a 4.5 40 and 4.25 shuttle weren't enough, Liam was fantastic in 1v1s. His quick feet and acceleration allowed him to maintain tight coverage once the receiver closed the cushion. Fieber wasn't afraid to get hands on and redirect WRs either, showing some of the physical side to his game that shines even more on his tape. This summer locked in our confidence that Liam can be a future three down safety at the next level. The De Pere standout holds offers from Duluth, River Falls, Northern State, Sioux Falls, and Drake. This is another athlete who will be marching his way towards the Top 100 overall players in this loaded 2027 Class.     Not only is Kain going to be a riser in our rankings from his work this summer, you can consider this our prediction that Kain is going to absolutely go off this fall. The versatile RB is someone you can trust throwing the ball to as much as you trust handing it off to him. Throughout the month of June, and even before that, Kain wowed us with the explosive quickness that he brings to the field. He has a special ability to burst, change direction, and accelerate. Three traits that the best RBs always seem to have. These are the traits that help RBs make something out of nothing. The West De Pere RB1 is going to see a ton of touches this fall in a variety of ways. No doubt he will climb into our Top 10 RBs. Strong currently holds a D1 offer from Drake.     Next up we have one of the more heavily pursued LBs in the state. Muskego's [player_tooltip player_id='1230630' first='Jayden' last='Adams'] spent the month verifying to coaches that he can be that leader in the middle of their defense for years to come. The 6'2" 210 lbs incoming senior sure looks the part, and the way he is able to fly around the field leaves no doubt he can play at the next level. Jayden consistently put up 40 times right around 4.6 and broad jumped in the low to mid 9's throughout the summer. But it is what he does on the field that gives us the most confidence in his future. Jayden is instinctive, explosive, and does everything with a level of power that allows him to muscle his way to plays. Find the football and you find the Muskego LB. Plenty of coaching staffs are interested in his talents too. Adams has offers from Quincy University, Drake, Northern Michigan, River Falls, Sioux Falls, and Whitewater.     I'm hard-pressed to think of another OL/DL who raised their stock like Chase did this summer. I was lucky enough to cross paths with Chase at several camps and got to see his dominance over and over. It was the raw power that caught our attention and the way he can use speed to create power. In the run game the big man proved to be a mauler. Quick to close on his man, get hands on and erase any space, then run his feet and plow DL out of gaps. The power from his feet to his hands is worthy of the next level. I can't wait to see exactly how much he is able to rise up our boards. Chase holds offers from Oshkosh, Dordt, Stevens Point, Whitewater, Platteville, Eau Claire, Upper Iowa, SMSU, River Falls, Michigan Tech, Drake, Bemidji State, and MSU- Moorhead. Big things ahead for the Aquinas standout.     Coming out of Stevens Point, [player_tooltip player_id='1650969' first='Trent' last='Breitbach'] is looking like he will be our biggest riser among the QB position. I fully expect him to be well within the Top 200 with a great chance of also being Top 10 among QBs. Trent is a dangerous dual threat QB, and this summer he verified exactly how dangerous. He consistently ran in the low 4.5s in the 40, showing game-breaking speed that can legitimately beat pursuit angles deep downfield. He also has the quick twitch agility and elusiveness to make defenders miss in tight quarters. It is also evident that Trent has the arm talent to be able to play the position at the next level. He is quick with his throwing motion and release and the 2027 QB is able to generate velocity through his mechanics. It is also very noteworthy to see that he earned an offer after a 3 day camp with Duluth from the Bulldogs telling me they loved what they saw from him in that timeframe. He also has offers from Minot State, and UMary.     One of my favorite performances from the summer was watching Andrew battle in the defensive trenches. The 6'2" 290+ lbs athlete was a force at camps. He has power the instant he springs out of his stance and naturally seemed to always have the leverage advantage when making contact thanks to that lower body flexibility. Chromy has the lower body strength to be able to win via bull rush, collapsing the pocket or disrupting timing. I love the violence he brings to the interior of the DL. Then he can flip a switch and burst around IOL with quick feet and fast, active hands to keep himself clean. The variety of paths to 1v1 wins for the Franklin standout was outstanding to see. No doubt Chromy will be Top 10 at his position. He holds offers from MSU- Moorhead, Washburn, Northern State, Minot State, Bemidji State, Eau Claire, Sioux Falls, Duluth, Upper Iowa, and Drake. There is a lot of competition for the DL.     Owen made a lot of noise on the recruiting trail with his efforts in June. The highlight of his month seemed to come from his day at NDSU where he posted a 4.46 40, 9'10" broad jump, 31" vertical, and 10.5 yard triple jump. The long, athletic playmaker at DB shined in 1v1s too. He was twitched up and possesses outstanding reactive athleticism to read and react to route breaks and then perfectly jump routes. It is clear that Owen trusts his tools, showing patience in coverage. The standout DB earned several offers in the month of June including Mankato, Augustana, Sioux Falls, SMSU, Northern State, Duluth, Bemidji State, Minot State, and MSU- Moorhead. A great list of options for a kid who will be launching inside our Top 100 athletes.     Another skill player who absolutely broke out this summer is Hudson WR [player_tooltip player_id='1633408' first='Delani' last='Oreso']. I'm not the only PRZ scout that Delani had buzzing with his performances. Everywhere he has gone this summer we have heard great things about Delani. From the size and utilization of it, to the strong hands, to the speed to stretch the field, Delani has a wide array of tools to win with on the outside. His blend of athleticism and strength at his size give him the gifts to mold into a future WR1 for a team at the next level. Plenty of teams want that opportunity also with Delani holding offers from Concordia- St. Paul, Winona State, Drake, Sioux Falls, Mankato, Bemidji State, St. Thomas, and MSU- Moorhead. I won't be surprised to see Delani make one of the largest jumps that we have had in PRZ WI history in terms of rankings. Look for him to be right up there battling for the top WR spot.
