One of the Upper Midwest’s bigger winners of the 2026 Summer Camp SZN comes out of Wisconsin and Altoona High School. The Railroaders are home to one sleek, fluid, athletic, and very impressive 2027 DB in Owen Gunderson, who has earned summer scholarship offers from MSU-Moorhead, Minot State, Bemidji State, Minnesota-Duluth, Northern State, Southwest Minnesota State, Sioux Falls, Augustana, MSU-Mankato, all since June 9th. Gunderson came into Fargo and popped off a 4.46 and 4.48 40, not to mention, 9’10 broad, and he was one cool, calm, and collected customer during competition. Great eye discipline, could easily break on the ball with explosive quickness and easy, twitchy stick & plant ability. Very little wasted movement and could cut and shut down in a blink, the NDSU coaches working with the DBs were enjoying themselves working with Gunderson, who was also making their jobs easy thanks to his athleticism and production. PRZ is a big fan of this DB going into the 2026 season.
