Liam has put on a show this summer and spring, going beyond just the month of June. The dynamic defensive playmaker not only tested exceptionally well, he did it repeatedly leaving no doubts that the gifts are legitimate. If a 4.5 40 and 4.25 shuttle weren’t enough, Liam was fantastic in 1v1s. His quick feet and acceleration allowed him to maintain tight coverage once the receiver closed the cushion. Fieber wasn’t afraid to get hands on and redirect WRs either, showing some of the physical side to his game that shines even more on his tape. This summer locked in our confidence that Liam can be a future three down safety at the next level. The De Pere standout holds offers from Duluth, River Falls, Northern State, Sioux Falls, and Drake. This is another athlete who will be marching his way towards the Top 100 overall players in this loaded 2027 Class.

One of the best overall performances of the day belongs to the safety/LB/ATH out of De Pere, Liam Fieber Liam Fieber 5'11" | 195 lbs | LB/ATH De Pere | 2027 State WI . The 5’11” 197 lbs athlete dominated every portion of the day. He started things off with a 4.50 40, 4.25 shuttle, 9’9″ broad jump, 7.03 L-Drill, and a 38.8″ vertical. Elite numbers across the board.

The 1 on 1 battles were a great look at Liam too because he is coming off an All Conference season as an OLB for the Redbirds. So getting to see him more in space running with WRs was great to see. It was impressive how natural Liam was in coverage. Quick backpedal, explosive transitions and changes of direction, a closing burst to be able to jump routes and break up passes. The ’27 DB also proved to have the physicality to be able to play with TEs too. It was a day that showed off Liam’s complete game and it ended with him earning an offer from Winona State.

This Redbird defense is going to be something special with this being our 3rd member of the defense making this list. Liam actually plays a lot of safety for De Pere, but also has the talent to step down in the box and provide support. Liam brings fantastic range to roam the back end or fly downhill in run support. When he does start in the box it is a major mismatch for OL trying to cut him off as he flies into the backfield with his speed. The junior is able to pack a punch when he hits, turning that speed into power. Liam is a very reliable tackler in space on top of it all. I’m excited to see how he performs this offseason, in the season, and where he lines up at the next level.
