From the size and utilization of it, to the strong hands, to the speed to stretch the field, Delani has a wide array of tools to win with on the outside. His blend of athleticism and strength at his size give him the gifts to mold into a future WR1 for a team at the next level. Plenty of teams want that opportunity also with Delani holding offers from Concordia- St. Paul, Winona State, Drake, Sioux Falls, Mankato, Bemidji State, St. Thomas, and MSU- Moorhead. I won’t be surprised to see Delani make one of the largest jumps that we have had in PRZ WI history in terms of rankings. Look for him to be right up there battling for the top WR spot.

Hudson’s standout rising senior WR Delani Oreso is in the midst of a breakout, stock rising, and all together productive Summer Camp SZN that has netted him offers from six D2 programs and two FCS (non-scholarship) competitors since June kicked off just a few short weeks ago. Long, athletic, and a very dynamic route runner, Oreso once again had a strong showing at another camp stop, this time up in Fargo for NDSU’s FBS Prospect Camp. Oreso was silky-smooth, ultra-productive, and impressively explosive during the padded 1v1 session PRZ was able to watch, and his super loose hips at the top of the route were really allowing Oreso to create some noticeable separation.

Delani is one that you can see it’s evident that he’s been working on his craft this offseason as he showed off when it mattered most with one of the biggest college coach attendances you’ll see in the Midwest at camp in the summer at Minnesota.

Someone needs a ranking’s bump! A PrepRedzoneMN Showcase standout and veteran from MN/WI border town Hudson, Delani Oreso opened some eyes yesterday in Dinkytown. Legit 6’2+ with some juice in the athleticism front, Oreso has really improved since the last time we saw him, and he seemed to have saved his best performance for his budding career’s biggest moment. Oreso came alive during 1v1s, showing off his experienced route running skillset in eye-catching effectiveness. Oreso, with deadly suddenness at the top of the route who could easily and smoothly find and manipulate a DB’s blind spot, was aided by his 6’2.5″ wingspan and overall impressive catch radius. He also could cut and breakdown in a blink, and was noticeably locked in, comfortable, and having with it, a deadly combination for DBs as they struggled to maintain phase all day long. I heard Oreso’s name getting tossed around by some heavy hitters at the PJ Fleck RTB Prospect Camp. Concordia-St. Paul and Winona State already offered post-camp. More offers coming!

Delani looks ready for the leap. He has a long frame providing a large catch radius. It is clear that he has that playmaking ability, turning every catch in 2025 into a score while also averaging 56.7 yards/rec. The raw athlete is just coming into his own. He eats up yards with long strides and can build up to some effective speed. This year could be a special, breakout performance for a raw, but very talented WR. Coaches, make sure you keep a close eye on this kid.

Oreso excelled in 1-on-1 drills. He has sharp footwork, disciplined body control, and creates consistent separation. His ability to track the ball and adjust mid-play highlighted a growing understanding of positioning and anticipation. The junior from Hudson High School was technically sound at the line of scrimmage and fluid in his releases. Keep an eye on this rangy playmaker.
