Our Prep Redzone North Carolina exposure camp was on Friday night at Johnson C. Smith, and 75 athletes came out to compete in front of college coaches and recruiters. We'll have plenty of content throughout the week, but we want to start with a quick hitter. Here's our All-Camp team. We hit the defense earlier; now we'll look at the offense.

Prep Redzone All-Camp Offense

Editor's Note: We're using our discretion with how many players we put at each position, but we're trying to stay close to the numbers expected in a typical offensive alignment.

Quarterback

[player_tooltip player_id='1301805' first='Hudson' last='Irwin'] | Northwest Cabarrus

Analysis: Oh, this was tough. Unfortunately for the quarterbacks, I'm only taking one here out of an impressive group. Don't worry, I'll have plenty on the entire group of quarterbacks this week, as that group of guys was impressive.

Irwin was probably the most physically impressive quarterback in attendance, but he was also a vocal leader, and though his accuracy isn't his top trait, he was consistently accurate to all fields, which was great to see.

Lincolnton's [player_tooltip player_id='1678610' first='Rashad' last='Lynch'] and East Forsyth's [player_tooltip player_id='2123450' first='Ahmad' last='Francis'] had particularly strong days compared to what I've seen from them in the past, and [player_tooltip player_id='1702810' first='Owen' last='Hulbert'] (Cleveland) and [player_tooltip player_id='1616112' first='Jonah' last='El-Amin'] (Jordan) made a case here, too.

Running Back

[player_tooltip player_id='1634632' first='Jaden' last='Hartsfield'] | Wake Forest

Analysis: Another good group, the running backs were paced by Hartsfield, who looked great in drills and one-on-ones.

Hartsfield moves well for a bigger back (5'9," 210 pounds) and showed himself to be a really capable receiver out of the backfield. He especially shone in drills that let him show his wiggle and lateral quickness, making some of the best linebackers in attendance look silly on more than one occasion.

I was curious how a power back would perform in a camp setting, but it was a good performance from the rising senior.

Wide Receiver

[player_tooltip player_id='1616138' first='Xavier' last='Hutchens'] | Kings Mountain

[player_tooltip player_id='1421082' first='RJ' last='Lynch'] | Lincolnton

[player_tooltip player_id='2112028' first='Jay' last='Taylor'] | West Stokes

Analysis: Hutchens lived up to the hype as the highest-rated player in attendance, showing elite ball skills and fluid movement. He's a crisp route-runner who finished catches.

Lynch and Taylor are two gadget guys known for being more quick than fast, but both had fantastic 40 times and then looked great in drills and one-on-ones.

There were several guys who just missed the cut here, including [player_tooltip player_id='1194708' first='Kegian' last='Blanchard'], [player_tooltip player_id='2153029' first='Na'Zir' last='King-Chiles'], and [player_tooltip player_id='590094' first='Amari' last='Coulter'], all of whom impressed as crafty technicians and superb route-runners.

[player_tooltip player_id='2155292' first='Caleb' last='Gray'] was one of the top testers in attendance, and we'll have more on him early next week.

Tight End

[player_tooltip player_id='1718784' first='Phoenix' last='Barnes'] | Jack Britt

Andrew Lewis Jr. | Roanoke Catholic (VA)

Analysis: I cheated here and picked 12 players to get both Lewis and Barnes here, who were among the best players in attendance regardless of class.

Both tested well, and in one-on-ones used their elite height and length to create space at the catch point. I was particularly impressed with how natural of a pass-catcher Lewis seemed to be, given he plays a lot of quarterback back in Virginia.

Barnes is a long-strider who flashed some route-running nuance. He doesn't have a bunch of catches on film, so it was nice to see him run routes and catch the ball.

Offensive Line

[player_tooltip player_id='1815332' first='Landon' last='Suttle'] | South Point

[player_tooltip player_id='1607805' first='Gavin' last='Passino'] | Hickory Ridge

[player_tooltip player_id='865972' first='Jackson' last='Jenkins'] | Northern Nash

[player_tooltip player_id='2192887' first='Anthony' last='Garcia'] | Weddington

[player_tooltip player_id='772855' first='Samarion' last='Dawkins'] | Kings Mountain

Analysis: This was a difficult pick, partially because it was a deep group and partially because the defensive line had its fair share of wins. I came away highly impressed once again with Suttles and Jenkins, the highest ranked of the group.

Passino is steady. He's not the biggest or fastest offensive lineman, but he can play several positions up front, learns quickly, and is really hard to beat one-on-one, even in drills that favor the defense.

Garcia has the frame to add about 20-30 more pounds, and doing so should help his recruitment. He's technically sound, and a guy we're looking forward to seeing against top competition this year.

Finally, Dawkins looked solid in pass protection and I really liked his lateral movement skills in drills. I'll add [player_tooltip player_id='1939214' first='Hunter' last='Wingler'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1670896' first='Logan' last='Martin'] as guys who impressed me.

Martin showed some excellent lateral quickness, and as of now, I have him sticking on the offensive side of the ball in our rankings, though he's a two-way player.

We'll have plenty more on this deep offensive line group later this week.

We'll have plenty more to come from our Prep Redzone Exposure Camp this week, so follow along. We're updating rankings soon, so keep it locked in with Prep Redzone.
