Stat Sheet Stuffers Week Nine

With over 200 games of football played across the state, we see some incredible box scores. In this article we look at some players who stuffed the stat sheet during Week Six. Despite the end result, Rinaldi had himself a day rushing the ball, and kept his squad in it till the end.   The Junior RB, had 24 carries, and accumulated 241 yards on the ground. He also added three touchdowns, and had an average of ten yards per carry throughout the game.     Pierre is the top RB in the 2028 class in Section One. I have full belief, that Pierre will receive interest at the D1 level in no time. In a win against RCK, he went off, and led his team to victory, moving them to 4-4 on the year.   In the 35-29 win, the Sophomore completed 1/3 catches for 44 yards and a touchdown through the air. On the ground, he added 28 carries, 213 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, in what was another impressive game for him.     We will see Coryea this week as his Blue Streaks face Shenendehowa in a first round playoff matchup in Section 2. Last week, the senior had a star game against Schenectady leading to a 41-0 win.   Coryea added five touchdowns on the ground in this game, and accounted for 30 of the 41 points. He had 13 carries, and averaged 16.8 per rush. The Senior finished with 218 yards, and had a major night for the Blue Streaks.     Shocker. [player_tooltip player_id='747255' first='Brady' last='Waring'] Is once again a Stat Sheet Stuffer. The Eden/North Collins squad, picked up a playoff win against PCRHC by a score of 43-28, and the Senior QB, went off.   On the ground, he had 12 carries, and 93 yards and included one touchdown. Through the air, is where he had the biggest impact, finishing 21/29, with five touchdowns, and 264 yards through the air. Waring is performing like the top QB in the state this year.     With Brady having five touchdowns through the air, it is expect that one of his WR's would be on this list. Nellis has had an exceptional junior season, and has become one of the top pass catchers in the whole state.   In the playoff win, the Junior WR hauled in nine catches for 145 yards. He averaged 16.1 yards per catch, and had three touchdowns in the receiving category in what was an impressive game.     Kleitz, was moved to one of the top QB's in the state in our last ranking update, and lmakes his first appearance on the stat sheet stuffers list in Week Nine. The Redhwaks picked up a 35-13 win against South Park, and Kleitz had a great game.   The Senior RB, tallied 14 carries, and 95 yards on the ground with 0 touchdowns. Through the air however, he had five touchdown passes, 209 yards, and finished the game 19/29 on his passes.     Drnek, has made an appearance on this list in almost every week. After Dover took home a 26-20 playoff win against Monticello, the Junior ATH, once again find himself on the stat sheet stuffers list.   Passing wise, Drnek went 3/7 on his throws and had 21 yards and one interception. On the ground, he had 21 carries, 145 yards, and three touchdowns. He also made an impact on defense, adding 12 tackles, two of which were for a loss.     The Friars Sophomore QB, has broken out this season, and is one of the top QB's in the Catholic League. In St.Anthony's win over Fordham Prep, Diieso went off and helped lead his squad to victory.   The Sophomore QB, completed 16/20 passes, for an 80% comp percentage. He had three total touchdowns through the air, and threw for 225 yards. On the Ground he added 3 carries for 13 yards.     With the wind going crazy on Halloween, I thought throwing the ball would be a lost cause. Henry proved me wrong big time, as the Senior receiver had one of his best games this season.   Shoemaker hauled in six catches throughout the game, leading the team in that category. Of his six catches, he had four touchdowns, and 145 yards. The Harvard commit was unstoppable on Halloween, and seeing the Brewster defense was his treat.     The Sophomore QB, makes his first appearance on this list. He is unranked, but is now on my radar. The Troy squad picked up a 42-28 win over BHBL, and he was a big reason why.   In the game, Carr had a field day throwing the football, completing 15/19 passes, and having a 79% comp percentage. He added four touchdowns through the air, and had 292 yards. On the ground, he had 61 yards on 12 carries.     Maldonado, has made a few appearances on the stat sheet stuffers list, and as he continues to lead Monroe-Woodbury, you can expect to see his name tearing up the stat sheet.   The Junior QB, went off in a 49-15 win over NFA. Through the air, he completed 9/11 passes, and had 147 yards, and added two touchdowns. On the ground, he added to his total with 11 carries 112 yards, and two more touchdowns.     Joe wolf, has been the top target for Iona Prep this year. In my first game seeing him, he had three touchdowns, and called his shot against a solid Somers squad.   In the win over Archbishop Stepinac, the Senior once again had himself an outstanding performance. Wolf only caught five catches, but after the catch, he had 143 yards and one touchdown. He averaged 28.6 yards per catch, in what was a great game for the Senior.     Once against we find a St. Francis RB on the stat sheet stuffer list. This week we have Tyrone Clark, who in a win against Canisius, had an outstanding game running the ball.   Clark was a work horse against Canisius, and had a total of 32 carries throughout the game. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry, and had three touchdowns on the game. Clark Jr finished with 227 yards on the ground, and a 75 yard touchdown, which helped his team get the win.     On the other side of the game, we have Canisius RB [player_tooltip player_id='1345135' first='Amir' last='Hernandez']. The Senior back, combined with [player_tooltip player_id='778700' first='Elijah' last='Kimble'] for an outstanding rush attack that just fell short of thew win.   The Senior back, averaged 8.2 yards per carry, and had 16 total carries throughout the game. He finished with one touchdown, and had a long rush of 19 yards throughout the game. Hernandez, and Kimble are the deadliest rushing attack in the state.     [player_tooltip player_id='402254' first='Brayden' last='Richardson'], has had himself one of the best years rushing the ball. The Sleepy Hollow RB, has tore up the stat sheet every week, and picked up around five offers In his senior season.   In the first round playoff win against Pleasantville, the Senior RB went off. He had one catch for 24 yards, and had 31 carries, 221 yards, and two touchdowns on the ground. He averaged 7.1 yards per carry throughout the game.     [player_tooltip player_id='1213008' first='Dylan' last='Fox'], has been deadly in every aspect of an offense this year, and this past week was no different. Port Jervis had one of the best wins of the season, with a 77-21 beatdown of Red Hook.   In the game, Fox was deadly on both the ground and passing game. Through the air, he had four touchdowns and was near perfect throwing finished 13/15. He added 221 yards through the air. On the ground he added another three touchdowns, 120 yards and had 8 carries. Fox accumulated seven total touchdowns on the game.     Running behind the Mastic Beach Monsters, Jaquan Thomas has been the best back on LI. In a win against Walt Whitman, Thomas went off and helped his team pick up a 35-0 win, and move to 8-0 on the season.   In the win over Walt Whitman, Thomas had 15 carries, 205 yards, and added four touchdowns on the ground. He averaged 13.7 yards per carry, and accumulated 24 total points for his squad.
