I am proud to announce that I have joined Coach Mac, Coach Tuck, and Coach Ed on the After the Snap Podcast brought to you by Sage Media Solutions. Each week, I will join the squad during their Watch List Segment, to discuss a few players across the State of New York who deserve some love, along with written evaluations. In the first episode, we broke down the film of ATH [player_tooltip player_id='2133658' first='Isaiah' last='Smith'], and OL [player_tooltip player_id='2133659' first='Jonathan' last='David']. In today's article, we look at [player_tooltip player_id='2059786' first='Andrew' last='Johnstone'], and Nyir Jackson.

First up on the Watch List Episode Three, is easily one of the most versatile prospects in the 2028 class. Patchogue-Medford's [player_tooltip player_id='2059786' first='Andrew' last='Johnstone'], made his first impression at the Winter NY showcase, and has seen his recruitment take off this off season. Standing at 6'6" 260-Pounds, he is massive, and has an exceptional build for a TE prospect. The Long Island Prospect also can play as an EDGE Rusher, and his film is just as nasty on the defensive side of the ball.

Johnstone is an impressive prospect, who easily has the size to play TE. On the offensive side of the ball, he can mimic a WR, ands line up across the line. He is a quick route runner, and shows good speed along with the ability to make sharp cuts at the top of his routes. He does not go down easy, and moves well after the catch, showing a good burst and evading pressure. Johnstone will find himself highly ranked when the 2028 Re-Rankings come out.

Next up we head to the PSAL league, where we take a look at Erasmus Hall WR, [player_tooltip player_id='1295949' first='Nayir' last='Jackson']. The Erasmus Hall prospect was not yet on my radar, but after watching film, it is hard to argue why he should be a featured watch list player. Standing at 6'2" 180-Pounds, the PSAL WR, displays an outstanding frame for the WR position.

Jackson has an outstanding IQ, and it is on full display on his tape. He showcases the ability to sit down in space, and rack up short catches. He is an excellent route runner, who can make sharp cuts, and gain space on any route. I like his ability to make the game seem simple with the way he racks up catches. Jackson is a new player who after watching his film is officially on my radar, and he will easily find himself ranked in the 2028 Re-Rank.
