So coming into a rivalry game against Reading, Small wanted to dominate the game. He absolutely dominated the game, rushing for 210 yards and 5 touchdowns. One of the touchdowns was an 80-yard run. Small is an explosive running back who can score anytime he touches the ball, and he showed that Friday night. He is also a physical running back who is hard to tackle. Engle was hurt most of last year, so it is great to see him healthy and running the ball again at a high level. This year, as a Freshman starting at quarterback, he played great on Friday night. He scored the game-winning touchdown with 22 seconds left for Hamburg as they beat Midd-West 22-21. McFadden also threw for 238 yards. This is an impressive performance for a Freshman quarterback. McFadden has the tools to play even better going forward. Dent is an explosive running back who can score anytime he touches the ball. He does a great job of hitting the hole and running through contact against defenders. On Friday's win over Central Dauphin, Howell had 2 rushing touchdowns. He was also one of the top rushers for Cedar Cliff, as he had a big game, helping get the win for Cedar Cliff. He hit the hole and broke several tackles at the line of scrimmage, and then he raced to the end zone. It was an insane run, one of the best I have seen in a while. Then scored the game-winning touchdown in overtime when he caught a 10-yard pass. Incredible sequence of events for Anderson. Fernandez is a physical and tough runner who is hard to tackle. On Friday night, in a tough non-conference game against Manheim Township, Morgan made the play of the day when he intercepted a pass and returned it 90 yards for the touchdown.
