Fernandez is a difference-making running back that Manheim Township has needed all season, and he is starting to show that he is one of the top players in District 3 at running the ball. He deserves a game ball for his performance.

He did have a costly fumble, and that is something he needs to clean up, but overall, he had a good day rushing the ball for Manheim Township. Fernandez is a physical and tough runner who is hard to tackle. He should be in line for a huge season for Township the rest of the season.

His ability to play off the ball and rush off the edge is impressive. One of the best things I saw in his film is his ability to take on blocks and maintain his leverage. He is excellent at reading the play and then keeping contain outside. He also shows a motor that never quits as he chases plays down all over the field. He is also a good tackler, who tackles well in the open field. Finally, looking at his off-season work, I expect him to get some playing time at running back and possibly start. He is that highly skilled of a player. I expect a big year from Fernandez.
