PRZ Michigan Combine Series: Receiver Impressions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A ton of receivers showed up and showed out! Today, I have quick impressions of eight receivers from yesterday's camp. I got a great look at a couple of these guys, but, honestly, I didn't get a perfect look at everyone. Named a top 3 receiver at camp, Jamison showed his route-running prowess. As the coaches at the combine said, Jamison just knows how to get open. Plus, he had solid testing numbers. I especially like Jamison's change of direction- he's able to do a shoulder fake, plant his foot, and earn separation. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>In addition, Jamison does an awesome job at getting hands on the football. High, low, left, right, whatever, Jamison has the body control to position himself for success. Though Jamison does need to work on his hands. First off, Zeke put up solid testing numbers. A 4.75 40, 4.5 shuttle. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I didn't watch a ton of routes from Zeke, but the few routes I did see were solid. Can plant a foot, change direction quickly, and get open. Only thing I'd like to see more of is explosiveness out of his break. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lastly, Zeke's tape is AWESOME. He ran clean routes, had great testing numbers, and caught nearly everything thrown to him. Specifically, I was told that Santino had great hands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Plus, he's ranked #59 in the class of 2027. He's obviously a very good receiver, and I firmly beleive he'll have a ton of success this coming season. Jack is a great receiving Tight End. Even though he's taller and heavier than most receivers, Jack can still change direction, earn separation, and snag harder-to-catch balls. I also like Jack's ability to box out corners and secure balls thrown a tad behind him. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Jack also earned an offer from Olivet Nazarene! The numbers above are among the best at camp. Considering <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2025/04/been-sleeping-now-im-awake/">what I thought of his highlight tape</a>, Troy has the stuff to be an amazing varsity football player. Though another prospect who tested pretty dang well. No surprises with these numbers either- expected this after watching Cameron play in-person last season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Testing numbers back up the ranking. Someone I'll do my best to watch and focus on at a future camp. Thankfully, he also sent me a few clips to jog my memory. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All afternoon, Michael had great body control. He did a nice job catching slightly inaccurate balls, as well as toe-tapping near the sideline. Body control is one of those things that's extremely hard to teach- great job! Plus, Michael was more explosive out of his release than I expected. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hoping to catch an Anchor Bay game this season.
