This Dakota receiver has already been putting in the offseason work, and if that work translates to the field this fall, watch out for Lucci.
-Grinds against elite competition both in season and in the offseason.
-Possesses great concentration and can make some really difficult grabs.
-Can be a really problem in the screen game, with great vision and a burst of speed. Santino hits his top speed immediately.
I absolutely love Lucci’s game, and with another offseason of work, he could reach incredibly heights in 2026.
A couple of offers, and I’m expecting more to come after this coming season.
I even feel that Santino is a tad underrated. Santino’s tape proves that he’s someone who does the little things right. Every route is crisp. Footwork is consistently on point. Although Santino isn’t as explosive as the Power 4 prospects, he’s still able to generate massive RAC due to his vision and physicality.
I expect the Dakota passing offense to be a little more robust this season. Santino won’t be ranked in the top 10, but he will be ranked generously, as I strongly beleive a breakout season is incoming.
I admittedly didn’t get to watch much of Santino, but coaches let me know that he did a very good job. Specifically, I was told that Santino had great hands.
Plus, he’s ranked #59 in the class of 2027. He’s obviously a very good receiver, and I firmly beleive he’ll have a ton of success this coming season. Looking forward to hopefully catching a Dakota game this Fall.
Last season, Santino was a solid deep threat at the JV level. Although he only secured 9 receptions, I love the 22.2 YPC. In addition, he shows great speed and several well-executed routes throughout his tape. In addition, he has a few highlights from the camps he attended this offseason. This season, I could easily see Santino be a varsity contributor or at the very least take a massive step up on the JV level. I don’t think Santino’s skill matched the production from last season, and I hope to see Santino break out this year!
