Notre Dame commit flashed a lot of potential. Still kind of raw but has elite size, strength and frame, held his own while rest of offensive line struggled against a stout front. Good puller who can get out in front and find someone to block at the second level. Good hand placement, strike timing and latch. Raw upside is there. Leaner than most major D1 OL prospects. Multi-sport athlete, also plays hoops.

Patrick is the full package. Has the size of a future NFL player and the skill to match. Has done nothing but fill out his frame and develop in all areas since arriving at Portage Northern.
A rare prospect who looks to be meeting his potential. Most linemen of Gregory’s size fail to fill out their frame, either being way too skinny or way too big, which also severely impacts athletic ability. No guesswork when it comes to developing Gregory’s body or athletic ability. I feel that Notre Dame will do an excellent job developing

There are five elite offensive lineman in Michigan’s class of 2026, and Gregory happens to be the best of the bunch. In short, Gregory is a step above most of the elite prospects. Pass blocking is consistent, balanced, and with minimal mistakes. Run blocking is the same. Size really pushes Gregory over the edge. From a pure high school recruit standpoint, you can’t find many faults- any school would be delighted to have Gregory.
At Notre Dame, I could see Gregory playing any offensive line position. Of course, he’s listed at tackle, but Gregory’s size leaves things pretty wide-open in terms of position. I could easily see Gregory being an elite tackle, guard, or heck, even center at Notre Dame.

has become one of the might highly sought after prospects in the 2026 class. He just recently announced he is down to Michigan State, Michigan, Penn State and Notre Dame and has plenty of visits coming up. But what makes him so special?
First, Patrick is a big frame with room to pack on plenty of more size. He’s still extremely mobile and aggressive with a strong punch and quick first step. He’s an MSU legacy kid whose dad played at Michigan state, so he has the pedigree to be great. He has continued to develop extremely well at Portage Northern and has turned himself into a blue-chipper.

The case for Gregory:
- Best overall size profile in the class
- Gained a ton of offers very early in high school career
- Family history of amazing football success
- Excellent fundamentals; rarely mis-steps
The more I look at Gregory, the more I think he’s likely to be the most successful lineman in Michigan’s class of 2026. A lot is going for him. Plus, having family familiar with high-level football should give him a leg up in college. I’m confident that Gregory will eventually be a very good player wherever he winds up playing his college ball.

Gregory has been a highly sought-after prospect really ever since he stepped in front of college coaches. He has the best size profile in the class, with a well-filled out 6’5″ 265lb frame alongside very consistent fundamentals. Against the best EDGE rusher competition, Gregory consistently wins.
He could go to Bama, Michigan, OSU, you name it. Any college in the country would be delighted to have

Although it’s not the most surprising recruitment news, it’s definitely still notable, as earning a P5 offer from the home state helmet school is never not major, especially when it’s the University of Michigan. Portage Northern’s superstar sophomore Gregory Patrick got his recruitment going early, as he earned offers from Central Michigan, Minnesota, Western Michigan, Toledo, Miami (OH), Oklahoma, and Michigan State before his sophomore year got underway, and it took less than a month for blue-blood Michigan to get involved with his recruitment and offer a B1G scholarship. The Nebraska Cornhuskers joined in two days later as well. The sophomore midseason tape displays a powerful, mobile, balanced , and athletic LT with an explosive initial punch that is powerful enough at first contact to send DL flying backward. Patrick does a great job of staying engaged with an opponent and working to finish once he gets his hands on, plays with a sturdy and solid base, and can easily and effectively work to the second level and eliminate smaller/quicker defenders. I can’t help but be impressed by his clean and patient pass set. The footwork and technique is consistent and smooth, and overall Patrick’s got just about everything going for him that you’d want in a prep OL, especially a sophomore. Patrick just turned 15 on September 2nd, stands at 6’4.5″, 270 lbs., is already a decorated and experienced varsity LT, and has his best football in front of him. One word: stud.
