About Carter

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a tough athlete with speed and vision, and my route running is strong. I can take the top off a defense or be a threat after the catch on short passes. Defensively, as a CB, I'm comfortable playing man or zone and anticipate well. I also return kicks and punts.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm coachable, passionate, and competitive. I work extremely hard off the field year-round, including weightlifting, speed & agility, working on my skills with my Trainer (Dre Muhammad), and excelling at Track & Field.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example more than being extremely vocal. I'm a strong teammate. My dad is a former coach, so I was raised learning how to do the right things.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find the best fit for me culturally, academically, and as it relates to football of course. I'm open on level and location.

Carter is a mixed bag. His athleticism is good, especially his straight-line speed. Though, his routes are sloppy. He tries double moves, but they’re very slow, no head/shoulder fakes, and doesn’t fool even small-school DBs. Little route variety otherwise.
He’s also a poor blocker. Gets in front of his man but consistently fails to lock on his target or give any sort of drive.
