did what he does. This dude was everywhere all day long for Divine Child. Hudsonville Unity Christian is a run first squad, and he was able to play downhill through all 4 quarters. I don’t think I saw him miss a single tackle. When he gets ahold of the ball carrier, it’s over. His play speed and play recognition is phenomenal, and his ability to play physical and nasty was a huge difference in this game as DC got the stops when they needed to. Marcello finished with 11 solo tackles, and another 3 assists.

I hope to catch a Divine Child game this season. I’ve been wanting to evaluate Marcello in a game setting for a while.
I’m not going to say anything new here. Marcello’s explosiveness shines in this Week 1 tape. Marcello is able to hit the brakes and explode better than anyone in the state. RB isn’t the position he’ll be playing in college, but Marcello still does a nice job navigating traffic and running north-south.
Very excited to see what Marcello does for the rest of this season. High expectations for Divine Child this season!

It’s not going to come easy for Vitti.
Dudes a game-breaker. No question that he’s talented enough for this award.
Like everyone on this list, team performance is going to play a big role. I like the pieces on this Divine Child roster, but they’ve got to get it done in the postseason. A state championship run will almost certainly propel Vitti into the Mr. Football conversation.

- Elite work ethic, as advertised.
- Pretty underrated; I’ve seen worse players earn far more recognition.
- As long as he’s on the field, you’ve got to mark Marcello and have a plan to mitigate damage.
- Offensively, elite speed, great physicality, a TD threat every play.
- Uber-aggressive on defense. Takes aggressive angles and executes.
- Will be an incredible player at Iowa.
- The #2 overall player in Michigan right now.

is an absolutely electrifying athlete that is currently committed to Iowa. Vitti is a 3-phases player that you absolutely must gameplan around. His game breaking ability can hurt you from all directions.
Offensively, he can get it done on the ground or through the air. Vitti thrives in the screen game or taking sweeps. His vision and burst of speed is unmatched. Defensively, Vitti looks like he is shot out of a cannon from the safety position. He reads screens or underneath routes quickly and comes up to lay physical shots. There’s not much he can’t do, making him the blue chip prospect that he is.

Marcello is one of the most valuable players in the state, especially in the Detroit Area. On a weekly basis, he’s racking up 150-200 total yards, and is finding the endzone more often than not. On special teams, he uses great vision to exploit weaknesses in coverage, and then uses burning breakaway speed to turn it into a touchdown. He is also utilized on the ground, dicing through the hole and breaking up field for huge chunk plays. He’s also utilized to stretch the defense vertically catching passes out of the backfield and racking up YAC. This is one of the elite prospects in 2026, and he is showing why!

I haven’t talked about Marcello a ton lately, mostly because I don’t think I can add much that people don’t already know. Marcello is one of the most versatile athletes we have in the state. He does a little bit of everything on both sides of the ball. Defensively he can play that hybrid LB/Nickel type, can come downhill, or defend the pass with P5 level skill. Offensively, he can be a quick and twitchy running back who can get to the 2nd level in an instant, and make guys miss from any angle, and he absolutely burns defenders trying to run him down. He’s one of the most well rounded football players we have in the state, and he’s only a 2026! He currently holds 24 D1 offers, and that number will only increase over the next couple of years.
