I absolutely love the versatility Gage showed in 2025. Whether it’s playing an OLB off-ball position or lining up on the EDGE and creating havoc in the backfield, Bevins has the ability to be a game wrecker. He has a great first step, really good bend and the strength to straight up shed blocks when someone puts their hands on him. As a pass rusher, he’s a weapon, but he is just as impactful as a run stopper with tremendous downhill aggression. Absolutely deserving of a top 40 slot!

Gage is a newer player on my radar and he is here to stay. Looking to follow up with another great season, Bevins has worked hard this summer with a lot of reps with his hand in the dirt coming out of a 3 point stance. That differs from last season as he made an abundance of plays coming off the edge in a 2 point.

-High Motor: Very quick get off coming around the edge, multiple tackles for loss and sacks came off a second or counter rush move, relentless pursuit in backfield.

-Improved Coverage Ability: Good job keeping his head on a swivel, matching receivers entering his zone attacking the ball and playing through receivers’ body, has come away with multiple interceptions during 7v7 sessions.

-Great Physicality: Very good consistent tackler, creates contact with OLine, pass catchers etc does not wait on contact.

Gage checks a few incredibly important boxes. He plays hard, plays physical, and plays with confidence.

These traits carry his highlight tape. As an on-ball OLB/EDGE, Gage blows up plays by simply being faster than the opposing offense. In his first highlight, Gage easily gets around the OT, largely because of a good getoff and better effort. At 0:13, Gage out-physicals the TE, sheds his block, and crashes inside to stop the off-tackle run. Time and time again, Gage earns TFLs because of his decisiveness and physicality. I don’t think he stands out in size or strength quite yet. Despite not having a super big physical leg up on the competition, Gage consistently blows up plays because of the traits I listed above. This highlight tape is a textbook example of how to play EDGE/OLB as a freshman, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Gage improves this year.

Gage is a big back that keeps defenses on their toes. A traditional runner who welcomes physicality, especially at the end of runs. He has decent speed, can block, along with a high football IQ. This stud is a two way player who dominates the interior with his power and determination to move the chains.
