Drew looks notably better every time I see him. His body is maturing, and the skills are coming right along with it. He looked confident and comfortable on any throw to any part of the field.
-Quick trigger release with good velocity
-Great accuracy, especially on deep balls where he can lead his receiver
-Smooth footwork, balance and mechanics
-Gaining steam on the recruiting trail, with some interesting visits coming up

What a day for Drew! As a sophomore, doing what he did on the biggest stage in high school football is incredibly impressive. 19/25, 241 yards and 2 TDs against a Unity Christian squad that had played phenomenal defense all season long. He was as calm and poised as ever, picked his spots and got the ball to his playmakers. Doing it all while gritting through an injury just adds another level to how impressive of a day it was. Sheridan should be at the top of everyone’s QB lists heading into the offseason.

I don’t think Unity Christian has seen a quarterback like Drew this season.
Drew is the #1 difference maker for the Divine Child offense this weekend. I’ve seen Drew on film, and I just watched him in person last weekend. Not the most high-volume passing offense, but when Drew has the opportunity to throw, he’s incredibly efficient and accurate. Great at throwing off-platform and has the consistent mechanics necessary for consistently good ball placement. Plus, his timing is a tick better than most QBs. A budding star who has absolutely improved since last season, I’m excited to see how Drew does under the bright lights.

I’ve got some homework to do regarding Drew. For another season, Drew has proven to be an incredibly efficient quarterback.
Upon first glance of his 2025 tape, Drew seems to see the field exceptionally well. So many examples of Drew being able to extend the play, scan the field, and deliver a strike to an open receiver. Other moments show accurate, on-time passes.
If you want to see a (likely) future D1 quarterback in the playoffs, go watch Divine Child play tomorrow. If you want to watch him face an elite secondary, you can very likely go watch Drew face off against Harper Woods next week.

It’s hard to imagine Drew’s stock climbing much higher, yet he continues to elevate his game. Leading one of the most prolific offenses in Michigan, he has been in complete command and dealing it all over the field. Through five weeks, his film displays all the traits you want in a top quarterback prospect. He possesses the arm strength to push the ball vertically, paired with elite ball placement. He consistently layers throws between defenders and delivers strikes where only his guys can go get it. Throwing on the run, off platform or with pressure, his accuracy and decision making doesn’t take a hit. One of his biggest improvements so far is his ability to process and execute under duress. He is still able to fit the ball in exceptionally tight windows with timing and anticipation even with the defense in his face. He has done a ton of improving to his overall athleticism as well, getting more opportunities with designed runs. He has been showing off good vision and the ability to make guys miss with a spin move or a little hesitation. He continues to show steady growth, and it’s paying off with plenty of attention from the next level.

- Another consistent, accurate, poised QB from the class of 2028
- A good bit of college attention already
- Has been to a ton of camps. Very well-repped in-season and out-of-season
- Knows exactly what he needs to do in order to improve
- Massive rankings update incoming; Drew will still ranked very high

Not a ton separating the Top 3 QBs. Though, after going back and forth, I’ve decided to rank Drew #2 in his position. Drew has the most high-level tough throws on his tape, plus, his freshman season was incredibly efficient. I also like his situation at Divine Child- a few elite work ethics in that program, and a coaching staff that knows what it takes to be an elite High School athlete.

Drew has the potential to be QB1 in this class before it’s all over. Seriously, he’s that good. I have watched him develop since he was in Middle School, and he continues to improve in every aspect. He handles pressure well, he can make plays off beat, he has the arm talent to get the ball wherever you want, and by the end of his High School career, he will be a 4 year varsity starter. That experience cannot be matched! This offseason I’ll be looking at him closely to see how he builds on a great 1st season at the helm of Divine Child.

It can’t be overstated how impressive it is what Drew is doing. After taking the starting role, he has led his team to 3 straight wins against some good competition. For a 2028, this dude is extremely advanced. His decision making, ability to stand in the pocket under pressure and pure arm talent is all well above average. Divine Child has their QB of the future and I think with Drew’s trajectory and their skill talent, this could be a very scary team for the next few seasons. College coaches at the D1 level should have his name circled if they don’t already.

Drew had an awe-inspiring performance against a historically difficult opponent. His first highlight shows off an excellent deep ball. Seriously, if this ball is anything but perfect, it’s incomplete at best and a turnover at worst. Better yet, he made that throw with pressure in his face. The second highlight showcases his throw on the run, which again showed off some good zip and accuracy. This is my first time watching any high school tape of Drew’s, and I’ve got to say, it’s impressive. I can’t wait to see what Drew can develop into by the end of his career- true Power 4 upside here.
