Athletes I’m Excited to Watch at the PRZ WI Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Redzone Wisconsin Spring Showcase is here! This is always a great event with dozens upon dozens of athletes in attendance ready to go through the combine, positional drills, and one on one battles. Every event is jam-packed with talent, leading to a ton of impressive numbers and great individual battles. Looking through the list of attendees it is clear that this spring's crop of talent is going to turn a lot of heads, put up great numbers, and produce great clips of their efforts through the day. Heading into it, I want to give a quick breakdown of who really caught my attention in the attendee list and what I'm excited to see from them on Sunday. Can't wait to see everyone there! Following a great junior season, Robert already has earned an FBS offer and is looking to continue to build out that offer sheet. Being able to put together a strong combine will go a long way in grabbing him more attention heading into the summer camp cycle. The tape is strong, showing a kid that can be a three down threat with his inside/outside running and receiving threat. Now we get to put some athletic numbers alongside the tape to fully round out who he is as a player. The junior QB doesn't have a ton to prove. Instead it's more verification of his talent. From the elite frame to the big, accurate arm. Tanner is going to come out, continue to push for QB1 in this Class, and get better along the way. Tanner just recently earned his first offer from UW-Oshkosh. I can't wait to see things continue to heat up for the talented passer. I'm looking forward to seeing the size he measured in at. Along with that I am excited to see how he tests in the agility drills. Teigan is an edge who wins with quickness, so getting some numbers there along with a 40 time on top of it will be valuable. Plus I can't wait to see his speed go up against the OL that will be in attendance. His massive frame and athleticism plus pure power on tape have wowed me this offseason. So having this chance to get official measurements on him as well as watching how smoothly and effortlessly he can move at his size is going to be outstanding. So you can imagine my excitement knowing we will have measurements on his elite frame and then get to watch him work with the OL. Watch how his body control, balance, and flexibility to be able to play with leverage has developed this offseason. Cheever's sophomore tape is a strong base to build on. Lucky for us he is going to start that journey with us at the PRZ WI Showcase. He is coming off of a sophomore year on varsity where he piled up plenty of production. Now is the time of year to put numbers up to help represent what we see on tape. I'm looking forward to how his frame has continued to grow and how he looks in the positional drills as well as some 1 on 1 battles vs RBs. However, I haven't been able to watch him work in person. I'm jacked up to know that is changing on Sunday. I have a feeling Dylan is going to put up great numbers in the combine and be a big time playmaker when we get to 1 on 1 battles. I'm looking forward to watching him as a route runner, and maybe we can even see him rotate over and take reps at DB too. It will be great to get the athletic numbers for the 2027, but I'm really excited to see him out wide, battling DBs, and fighting for the ball downfield. On tape he has plenty of examples on varsity making difficult catches through contact and in traffic or while making last second adjustments. Sunday I want to see more of that and see how consistently he can win out wide. Jacob had a solid performance at his last Showcase performance. I also know he has been putting in the offseason work. Sunday we get to check in and see where he is at now with his development as he prepares for his sophomore season. The size is legitimate, now we get an update on where he is from an athleticism, flexibility, body control, and technique standpoint. I have heard strong praise for the 2028 RB/ATH, so I can't wait to watch the entire package. From the combine numbers, to watching him work in individual drills and take the coaching, then finishing with some 1 on 1 battles. I'm excited to see him go up against plenty of talented upperclassmen and see how well he is able to perform against strong competition.
