All day long Connor was right there pushing for MVP honors of his own. The 6’2″ 196 lbs 2027 LB has attended multiple showcases and left no doubt that he has been dedicated to getting better and using his offseason wisely. Connor started his day with a great display of his athletic tools. He hit a 9’3″ broad jump and did really well in the 40 with a 4.77 and 4.76 laser time. Those numbers alone help verify his ability to play three downs.
On the field in drills and 1 on 1 battles Connor was much improved from our last Showcase. He started with a great showing in the 1v1s vs RBs in the run game. Boyles was quick to close downhill and leave the RB little time to try and make a move. Then he finished his day with a lot of solid reps in coverage. That is where I saw his largest improvement. Connor trusted his speed and also demonstrated that he could run with RBs through route breaks better than he has in the past and also put up a good fight at the catch point to break up passes. The Menomonee Falls 2027 is one of the best LBs remaining in the Class. Don’t miss out.

All of last summer, and the early part of this offseason we have seen Connor repeatedly verify his athletic tools. Speed, quickness, and explosiveness aid him in tracking down the football all over the field. On the field that athleticism is key to his success. He does really well flowing with the ball while also avoiding blocks or flashing the power to quickly shed an OL. Connor is a well rounded athlete at the LB position. He will need time to continue to build on him frame, but the tools and production point towards him being able to play and succeed at the next level.

One of the top 2027 LBs coming out of Wisconsin is Menomonee Falls’

. The 6’2″ 196 lbs junior has 6’2.5″ wingspan and 9.5″ hands. He also crushed the combine with a 4.72 40, 4.5 shuttle, 9’2″ and 9’4″ broad jump, plus a 6.75 L-Drill. Connor has a strong, explosive frame and it showed up during 1v1s. Connor is so fast to trigger downhill and close on RBs in space. He showed off a great burst coming out of his backpedal to close on any separation that was opened up by the RB in his route. Connor fits the mold of the new age LB. One that is still explosive and violent, but can also play in coverage and be leaned on to take away an RB or TE. This is one of the dudes to know in the Class of 2027.

Stats: 20 Tackles, 2 FFs, 1 Sack, 2 TFLs, 2 QB Pressures
Week after week Connor repeatedly verifies that he is one of the top defensive players in the Class of 2027 here in WI. This past week was one of his best efforts, collecting an insane 20 tackles while also getting to the QB, into the backfield, and creating turnover opportunities. Coaches will love the effortless power he plays with as he quickly shucks OL to the side as they try and land blocks on him. Pair that power with sideline to sideline range that helps him chase down the ball without giving up yardage and you get a recruit that starts to look like a future three down LB at the college level. I love the effort he plays with too, getting involved in plays downfield and that power shows up again when he tackles. Connor’s athleticism and physicality have also opened the door to him playing some RB. MF is finding ways to keep him on the field and it is paying dividends in the results of games recently.

Connor put together a fantastic summer of camps, so I was excited to see tape come out from a very strong individual performance. The junior tested extremely well athletically this summer, and I’m jacked up because it has translated to the field. You see the junior LB flying downhill and into the backfield early in his tape. Connor also shows off that sideline to sideline range in pursuit. The growth shown this summer were hints of the development we were going to see this fall. This is an athlete you need to have on your 2027 boards.

. It seems like every camp we had a new member of the staff writing about how impressed they were by his performances. Connor is turning himself into a highly impactful, three down LB. One that you can keep on the field on third downs and let him roam around in zone coverage and make plays on the ball. And on first/second downs he can read and react, run sideline to sideline, and close with violence. It was a great summer for Connor, and the ’27 looks ready for an impactful 2025 season.

This kid never disappoints. Even at camps I haven’t been able to watch him closely his numbers come out and instantly catch my eyes. Luckily we got to see some action on top of his great numbers. Numbers that include a 4.68 40, 4.56 shuttle, 9’2″ broad jump and a 30.3″ vertical. All while checking in at 6’1″ 191 lbs. On the field was the best part of his day, though. Connor was outstanding in coverage. Quickly changing directions while mirroring route breaks, closing quickly to jump routes, and timing arm swipes to break up passes. The incoming junior did a great job of reading his man during the route and when the ball was in the air. Boyles has been a riser this summer and is on path for a great fall in a couple months.

We talked about how I was looking forward to seeing the sophomore in person after what he showed on tape as a varsity athlete in 2024. The sophomore checked in at 6’1″ 186 lbs, ran 4.81 in the 40, 4.65 shuttle, 7.3 L-Drill, and jumped 8’9″. Connor’s speed gives him the ability to run deep with RBs/TEs and also recover if he is a step behind out of a route break. The sophomore played really well in the 1 on 1 tackling drills vs the RBs showing off his closing burst and short area lateral agility to make sure he was in position to make the tackle. With his size, physicality, and athleticism Connor looks like he is on his way towards being a three-down LB recruit.

. Lucky for us he is going to start that journey with us at the PRZ WI Showcase. He is coming off of a sophomore year on varsity where he piled up plenty of production. Now is the time of year to put numbers up to help represent what we see on tape. I’m looking forward to how his frame has continued to grow and how he looks in the positional drills as well as some 1 on 1 battles vs RBs. Pumped to see he will be there.

As this kid continues to grow and fill out his frame with quality size we are going to see him breakout and launch up these rankings. The sophomore LB is an effective blitzer from the ILB position with range to close from depth and also play in coverage. Connor does really well playing through the front seven trash. A lot of his highlights show him weaving through traffic while closing on the ball. And the sophomore always knows where the ball is. He is quick to lock onto his target and looks like a heat seeking missile quickly chasing down the ball carrier. Give this film a look and keep a close watch on Connor over the coming years.
