Away from the play, Ramos served as a really good backside bender who took good angles, eliminating any opportunity for cutback. More than several times we see him squash plays' potential as he makes plays from the backside. Playing with hustle, effort, and maximum speed that meshers have little time to make a decisive decision - while also pursuing all the way to the far hash. In a limited sample size of film, Ramos has shown that he can adequately flip his hips. This is connected to his ability to move well in space, making him a threat to defend the pass as well. Ramos will turn his speed into power and use his lower pad level to power rush bigger offensive tackles, while getting his hands up should he not get home. What I appreciate about Don Bosco's staff here is that they seem to have found what Ramos does well and maximized those opportunities for him by putting him in positions to succeed.

Who does not love a 6'2" corner who can shift their hips well and run, fast, diagonally? That is exactly what [player_tooltip player_id='1277096' first='Lucas' last='Cardinale'] has put on film. Cardinale showcases aggression when setting the perimeter and is known as a capable tackler. Able to run with most matchups, he tends to play the receivers' hands very well to cause incompletion. Cardinale is certainly a safe player - a player that will never burn your team and always in in good position, playing his role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1530232' first='Maxamillion' last='McMillan']'s film was a bit confusing. My suspicion is that he simply mis-titled his tape. Aside from that, there is much to celebrate about McMillan's game. A true mike 'backer, he reads his reach and fills his gap with authority, forcing bounces and chasing like a madman. Better than most linebackers, McMillan runs well sideline-to-sideline and gobbles up screens in a hurry. However, what really makes McMillan special in my eyes is that he can hesitate for a moment and yet is still athletic enough make tackles for loss by making the play inside-out/underneath, rather than over the top. McMillan moves laterally very well when defending the run, which shows up when he plays duo. We see him squeeze and press the double, then reliant on his athleticism, gets to the open gap or matches the ball carriers cut. Lastly, he is a good form-fitting tackler and knows how to roll to his leverage.

The lone offensive prospect as part of today's coverage is [player_tooltip player_id='1287378' first='Michael' last='Urena']. Urena cracks the top 250 as an offensive lineman that works to refit his hands up-and-under his opponent when he drive blocks. Size and physicality are the recipe that allow Urena to get really good vertical displacement on his double teams. For college programs looking for a big, raw prospect with upside to go, Urena might be their guy.
    <h2
