Without further adieu, here are a batch of prospects within the position mentioned in the title that deserve a good look by all.

One of a three-headed Medusa of a backfield out of Elizabeth was [player_tooltip player_id='1282747' first='Jalais' last='Mendoza']. Mendoza is a very solid, safe running back that will not hurt you in any way. At moments we see a burst as he makes really good cuts between the tackle. However, when things are cloudy, he is unafraid to stick his nose in the pile and rely on faith in his track and play design. Staying on this topic, Mendoza will use his stiff arm not only as a weapon to evade defenders, but as a way to feel is way out of the backfield. I like how he seems fall forward due to how he leans when he runs. Mendoza also manipulates his body, getting skinny and limiting his surface area when he suspects defenders are looking to lay a big hit. Ball security is a priority of his, as Mendoza pins it securely to his chest. Lastly, Mendoza appears to be a team player as he took reps at tailback, wing back, fullback, and gave genuine and true effort when blocking for his teammates and took pride in his role of their success.

I just cannot help myself when I see a Wing-T fullback that I like. [player_tooltip player_id='1524806' first='Peter' last='Miragliotta'] is a very hard runner who protects the ball with both hands, pinning it to himself, as danger looms. More than some other films, he also showcases himself as a lead blocker, probably because he wants to show how he blows up linebackers and finishes each and every one of his blocks. I was skeptical at first, but he showed that he does have a set of wheels and that he knows how to use them. Lastly, Miragliotta is mindful of situational football as he will ower his shoulder or hurdle defenders when necessary.

Although we transition from one team that runs the Wing-T to another, Ridge's [player_tooltip player_id='1513525' first='Ryan' last='Turner'] is not their fullback. Turner was more of a wing or split back this last year due to the fact that he can move both quickly and fast. This allowed him to create separation in the open field last fall. Because Turner moves so fast, the most subtle movement allows him to make defenders look silly as he flies past them. I really liked how Turner keeps his feet moving to break numerous tackles. Making every effort to bust loose, Turner spins to evade defenders and has balance to not get tripped up. Not lost in this run-first-and-heavily offense was his ability as a receiver. Turner can make one-handed grabs, fully extend to catch the ball vertically, high points the rock, and uses his hands to catch it too.

The third back of Elizabeth's dynamic power trio was [player_tooltip player_id='1631333' first='Yvonsky' last='Desir']. Desir does a great job of sinking his hips when he looks to make his cut or breaks. More than anything, however, Desir has a clear burst and reaches top speed very quickly. The Minutemen, evidently, demand ball security from their rushers as Desir is another one who pins the ball to his chest, while masterfully using his free hand to push past tacklers and evade bodies in general. More than his teammates [player_tooltip player_id='1282747' first='Jalais' last='Mendoza'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1216635' first='Jamad' last='Lyles'], the ball - literally - does not move when pressed to Desir's chest. Like of like the Mike Tyson peek-a-boo style of boxing, Desir takes this same approach as he is at his lowest when he is behind his linemen, only to find grass and explode. I really like how he also presses the back of pulling linemen, using their body to set up his cut rather than force through a hole or run past them. A favorite trait of mine, Desir runs with a forward lean and runs his track until he reaches the second level where he then looks to create on his own. Finally, Desir looks like he makes all his cuts and runs like he is violently mad.
