Must-See DBs: Prospects with Film that Popped, Part II

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The fun part of being involved with state rankings is that I have the chance to come across prospects that I think are total gems. The best part is that I get to celebrate those prospects, write about them, and – hopefully – deliver some deserving attention their way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Without further adieu, here are a batch of prospects within the position mentioned in the title that deserve a good look by all.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1475723"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-67d303c0cc9f1"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Seton Hall Prep may not have had the season they were hoping for, however safety [player_tooltip player_id='1475723' first='David' last='Manzo'] as a prospect who popped on film. The first thing I noticed that makes Manzo special was how well he moves backwards, actually accelerating when doing so. This allows him to see the field field and plays develop in front of him nicely, and as a byproduct making great breaks that look sudden on the ball. The aggregate of these abilities is that Manzo fills the alley so well that he can square up opponents in it when he flies up to fill. In a similar sense, he plays the short passing game exceptionally well, likely do to this skillset translating. Roseborough runs extremely well, covering a lot of ground, and has a burst when rolling down hill. With the ball in his hands, Roseborough is outright dangerous. We see him totally reverse field, and then sometimes even do it again, in order to bust a big return on an interception. Fundamentally, Roseborough maintains his backpedal for a longer-than-usual amount of time <em>all the while </em>staying in phase with his assignment. In fact, he looks very comfortable in it. Although he played tailback and has the track speed to get past anyone, my crystal ball tells me that Amachina's future is at defensive back - specifically safety. Playing that position for Central Regional, Amachina aggressively fill both gaps and the alley in the run game. In coverage he has shown recoverability should he lose a step or two. Moreover, he uses his hands nearly exclusively to catch the ball. Bend and flexibility are part of Amachina's traits too, as we see him often dip to avoid tacklers.
