DEER CREEK 21, BROKEN ARROW 19
- In their first ever season competing in Class 6A-1, Deer Creek made the playoffs and scored their first 6A-1 playoff win in school history. And they did it against the state's largest school as they beat Broken Arrow 21-19 to move on to the quarterfinal round. This game was close throughout but the Antlers moved on with the win. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='402380' first='Lemar' last='Davis'] would be the standout from the Antlers as he ran for over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win. But now, they shift their focus to the quarterfinal round and they will go on the road to face top-ranked Owasso.
NORMAN 69, WESTMOORE 28
NORMAN NORTH 30, MOORE 19
- Norman North had to wait until Saturday afternoon but they continued to play some of their best football at the best time. The Timberwolves knocked off the Lions 30-19 and this game was a great representation of their season. Norman North trailed 19-7 at halftime and would outscore Moore 23-0 in the second half to run away with the win. This continues their trend of second half football this season. Norman North started the season 0-6 and has now won four of their last five games. Senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='595685' first='Owen' last='Eshelman'] led the way and was dominant as a passer and rusher in the win. Now, they move on to the quarterfinals and will have a road game against defending champion Bixby.
UNION 38, MUSTANG 21

This win over Lawton Eisenhower would give Sapulpa their first playoff victory in nearly two decades. 2005 was the last time Sapulpa won a playoff game and that losing streak has now been snapped. Running back [player_tooltip player_id='1717571' first='Levi' last='Jensen'] played one of the best games of his career. he finished the night with well over 200 yards and a pair of long touchdown runs. Now, Sapulpa will go on the road to face Choctaw in the quarterfinals.

BISHOP McGUINNESS 42, LAWTON 7
BOOKER T WASHINGTON 25, COLLINSVILLE 20
- Booker T Washington won their ninth consecutive game in dramatic fashion with a 25-20 victory over Collinsville. The Hornets would rely on junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='858873' first='Mykah' last='Washington'] and a stout defensive front that caused chaos on the line of scrimmage all night. The Hornets trailed 14-6 at halftime but Washington, who has been dealing with a bum ankle for two weeks, scored a pair of touchdowns and finished with over 100 yards on the ground. The Hornets continue their terrific turnaround season after going 2-8 last season, they are now 9-2 and one win away from punching their ticket to the semifinals.
CARL ALBERT 56, MIDWEST CITY 0
CLAREMORE 14, McALESTER 0
DEL CITY 31, SHAWNEE 0
GUTHRIE 43, LAWTON MACARTHUR 21
- Guthrie moved on after a 43-21 win over Lawton MacArthur. The Blue Jays would run away from the Highlanders after this game was tied at 14 halfway through the second quarter. The Blue Jays scored two touchdowns in the final six minutes to lead 29-14 at halftime and they coasted to the 22-point victory and punched their ticket to the quarterfinals. With the win, head coach Kelly Beeby earned his 100th victory as Guthrie's head coach. Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1340786' first='Kolten' last='Carlock'] had a very busy night on the ground as Guthrie's rushing attack was a tough one to stop for the Highlanders. With the win, Guthrie will now hit the road to Tulsa in the quarterfinals to square off with Booker T Washington.
NEWCASTLE 63, NOBLE 14
PRYOR 38, BISHOP KELLEY 19

ADA 53, CUSHING 50
- There were a lot of good games on Friday night and specifically in Class 4A. A ton of outstanding finishes and overall performances but man it's hard to beat Ada's 53-50 victory over Cushing. This game had fireworks from the very start with both teams lighting up the scoreboard and both quarterbacks having a game to remember. Ada junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='911940' first='Brock' last='Boyles'] would throw for nearly 600 yards and six touchdowns in the win. Cushing had nearly 400 passing yards and thought they would have overtime when they scored the game-tying touchdown with a little over a minute left. But Ada answered, marching right down the field and kicking a short field goal with four seconds left to win 53-50. That allows the Cougars to move on to host Bethany in the quarterfinals.
BETHANY 28, WEATHERFORD 6
CLINTON 21, BLANCHARD 20
- Class 4A will have a new state champion in 2024 as Blanchard was upset by Clinton 21-20 on Friday night at home. Clinton scored the go-ahead touchdown with a little over a minute left to go up 21-14 but the fireworks were far from over. Blanchard marched right down the field and scored with 35 seconds left and elected to go for the two-point conversion. That came up short and Clinton led 21-20 but the fireworks were still not over. Blanchard recovered the onside kick and had another chance to survive and advance but a pass to the end zone as time expired was too long and the Red Tornadoes escaped with the win. Senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='901851' first='Zaedon' last='Collins'] was an absolute workhorse in the win with over 30 carries resulting in more than 200 yards and what ended up being the game-winning touchdown.
ELGIN 43, ARDMORE 0
HILLDALE 21, MIAMI 9
SALLISAW 27, GROVE 26
- For the second straight season, Sallisaw is moving on to the quarterfinal round and the Black Diamonds might be the most clutch team in Oklahoma this season. They would survive at home to beat Grove 27-26 and that's their third win in the last two months that has gone to overtime and they came out on top. This one in particular was one that Sallisaw fans will remember for a long time. Sallisaw scored in overtime to go up 27-20. Grove needed a touchdown and they got it from their quarterback. The Ridgerunners decided to go for the win instead of playing for a second overtime and they came up literally inches away from the goal line. Sallisaw survives and moves on to the quarterfinal round where they'll face top-ranked Elgin on the road.
TUTTLE 34, ELK CITY 6
WAGONER 49, POTEAU 21

BRISTOW 25, PLAINVIEW 14
CHECOTAH 35, CASCIA HALL 28
- Checotah went on the road and knocked off district champion Cascia Hall 35-28 in one of the more surprising results of Friday's first round games. The Wildcats showed they were ready to play, scoring on an interception return in the first 30 seconds of the game. From there, Checotah would jump out to a 28-7 lead and would hold off several Cascia Hall rallies to move on to the 3A quarterfinals, where they'll face a Bristow team that went on the road and knocked off Plainview. Checotah was led once again by star [player_tooltip player_id='353415' first='Elijah' last='Thomas'] as he had a complete showing in every phase of the game, including scoring a touchdown with a little over seven minutes left to put the Wildcats up 35-21. They were also led by running back [player_tooltip player_id='1293008' first='Jayden' last='Ellen'] as he had well over 100 yards and scored on that pick six.
HERITAGE HALL 43, SEMINOLE 20
HOLLAND HALL 21, BERRYHILL 13
IDABEL 39, CLAREMORE SEQUOYAH 21
LINCOLN CHRISTIAN 62, JAY 8
PAULS VALLEY 20, PERKINS-TRYON 17
- Another overtime game that came down to the final play say Pauls Valley beating Perkins-Tryon 20-17 on the road. Perkins-Tryon would score first in overtime, kicking a field goal to go up 17-14. Facing fourth down, Pauls Valley elected to go for the win and they got it as senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1005608' first='Tanner' last='Perry'] found senior [player_tooltip player_id='1187311' first='Jon' last='Grimmett'] for the game-winning touchdown. Grimmett played lights out throughout the first round victory. Perry also had a big moment near the end of regulation as he found Baylor commit [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] who ran away for a 55-yard touchdown to tie the game. Pauls Valley will now try to take this momentum into the quarterfinals as they have to travel to Tulsa to face defending champion and top-ranked Lincoln Christian on Friday night.
SULPHUR 66, KINGFISHER 0

One game that was decided by a single possession was Marlow advancing with a 21-14 victory over Chisholm. The Outlaws moved on and they will square off with Kingston in the next round. This game was close throughout and Marlow needed some late game heroics to survive and advance. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='1716143' first='Hudson' last='Morgan'] would score from five yards out with just under a minute left to provide the game-winning touchdown. One result that might have been unexpected was Salina going on the road and beating Henryetta 26-12. Two headlines from this game was Salina's defense and their playmakers continuing to get back to 100 percent. Henryetta's offense has been rolling for the majority of the season but they were held to a season-low 12 points in the loss on Friday night. Salina is also getting healthier and that starts with sophomore receiver [player_tooltip player_id='807020' first='Cooper' last='Hooker'] and he was outstanding on the offensive side of the ball. He missed time earlier this season but he was great in their first round win Friday.
STROUD 45, COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN 12
VIAN 38, KANSAS 7

Hooker came into the playoffs as the team to beat in Class A-1 after knocking off defending champion Fairview in the regular season. They would shut out Minco 20-0 in the first round but a storyline to follow that came out of this game was the health of their starting quarterback. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='572028' first='Kleat' last='Martens'] went down early on in the game and the Bulldogs might miss Martens moving forward. The Bulldogs will shift their focus to the quarterfinals where they'll host a high-scoring Pocola squad. Mangum spent the majority of the season as the number two team in Class A-2 and a top five team throughout but the season comes to an end in the first round. Konawa finished third in their district after losses to Velma-Alma and Ringling in back to back weeks back in October. But they went on the road and stunned Mangum, ending their season at 9-2 and moving on to the quarterfinals.
