is one of the more underrated quarterbacks in Class 3A as we head into the 2024 season. Perry has been a dual-threat nightmare for opponents to deal with over the last few seasons and now with Perry lining up in the backfield with Knighten, this Pauls Valley offense has a chance to really explode this fall. Perry accounted for nearly 2,000 yards of total offense and 28 total touchdowns last season. Because of the firepower they have back on the offensive side of the ball, don’t be surprised at all if those numbers sky rocket this season.

at the quarterback position. Perry does the most of his damage on the ground and that’s what happened in the win in week seven. Perry finished with nearly 100 yards passing on 9-11 passing. But he would finish the night with nearly 30 carries and over 200 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He accounted for all five Pauls Valley touchdowns. With the win over Plainview and the games against Heritage Hall, Marlow and Sulphur behind them, they are in a good spot to make the playoffs by taking care of business.

Pauls Valley jumped into the Class 3A rankings this week and the Panthers are going to be tested immediately as they go on the road to face #3 Marlow to open district play. In each of their first three games, he’s run for at least one touchdown. Perry and the Panthers will look to make noise with a big road win over a top five team.
