is our last stock riser in the latest update as he made a significant jump up the ranks and is now in the top five of a very special quarterback class in 2025. Now, it’s easy to look at Eshelman’s ranking and his last performance and think they go hand and hand and you’re not wrong. Eshelman’s performance against Owasso in week nine was incredibly impressive and that combined with seeing him in person earlier this year and on film plenty of times led us to moving him up on this latest update. Eshelman is one of the more underrated athletes in the state’s 2025 class and that term “underrated” gets thrown around a lot but it fits here. He is incredibly dangerous with his arm and his legs.

exceeded all preseason expectations. He would throw for nearly 2,300 yards and 24 touchdowns while also running for over 500 yards and seven touchdowns. We knew that Eshelman was going to be one of the better athletes at the quarterback position in 6A-1 but he was an even better passer than we anticipated. Eshelman showed flashes of what he could do as a sophomore and then he put it all together last season. This summer, Eshelman announced his commitment to South Dakota State and has firmly established himself as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the 2025 class.

has definitely grown on us over the last 18 months. He went from a really good athlete to one of the state’s top quarterbacks during that time. We first knew about him as a sophomore when he was playing a few different positions. He took over as QB1 last fall and has continued to get better ever since. Eshelman became another 2025 quarterback to commit to a D1 program earlier this year when he gave his verbal to South Dakota State. Eshelman is a quarterback that can beat defenses with his arm and his legs and with the talent Norman North has coming back on offense this fall, we think it could be a big 2024 season.
