<p><strong>1. Lewis Central (4-0) – </strong>The defending state champions ran their win streak to 13 games. They last lost Sept. 15, 2023 at Bondurant-Farrar. They avenged that defeat, 24-14, in Council Bluffs on Friday. <p><strong>2. Pella (4-0) – </strong>A week after picking up an impressive victory against visiting Indianola, the Dutch added another two-point win at Xavier on Friday. Colin Kerndt accumulated 220 yards and two touchdowns passing, adding 123 yards and a score rushing. He rushed 25 times 198 yards and three touchdowns with Wyatt Pink adding 69 yards and a score on eight carries.
