North Scott’s offensive line made a statement during the team’s 38-16 win at Cedar Rapids Washington in Week 2 of the 2025 season. Brenner led that charge with a dominating performance from his right guard spot. Benner was credited with two pancake blocks and impacted the contest well beyond that with the Lancers rushing for 239 yards (6.3 YPC) and three touchdowns. Not to be outdone by his exploits on offense, his work on the defensive line also proved important during the victory. Brenner succeeds on both sides of the trench by operating with physicality and power maximized by good pad level and technical soundness. Still uncommitted, colleges would be wise to monitor Brenner moving forward if they aren’t already.

has grown quite a bit over the offseason, and with that, his status as a high-quality Nose Guard plugging up the interior gaps has grown as well. Brenner finished last season with 30.5 tackles (21 solo), 5.5 TFLs, and a sack. Brenner plays both sides of the ball, serving as a Guard on the offense, and his power that he displays on both sides is tremendous. Just the first clip alone on his junior tape, he slammed a WR on a screen pass with a devastating hit-stick. A flexible lineman that can play both at DT and DE, Brenner does a great job gaining leverage to the outside of his blocker, and to give an idea on his strength, he’s posted a max 625 lb deadlift, a 495 lb squat, and a 300 lb bench, which certainly suggests D1 level strength. Brenner already holds 5 D2 offers heading into his senior year, and he should remain a priority target throughout most of the 2025 season as he remains to be a steady cog on the trenches for the Lancers.

Brenner is a big, physical front man, which he shows throughout his junior highlight video. He operates in different spots along the Lancers’ three-man front. Brenner has a good feel for playing within the defense, waiting for ball to come to him or eating up blocks so teammates can make tackles. He’s also an intriguing prospect on the offensive line, where he uses his size and strength to plow over the defensive front. On defense, he posted 30.5 tackles with 21 of them being solo stops. Brenner registered 5.0 tackles for loss and a sack, too.
