North Scott returned to the postseason in 2025 with Schlichting playing an important part in the Lancers’ offensive backfield committee. He rushed 34 times for 202 yards (5.9 YPC) and four touchdowns. Schlichting added four receptions for 32 yards. He chipped in 2.5 tackles, two of which were solo stops. His 11th-grade highlight video focuses on his talents carrying the ball. The first clip features himtaking an inside handoff in the redzone and picking the way through traffic on the way to pay dirt. It foreshadowed the rest of the film, where vision and sharp cutting leads to big gains through the traffic. There’s speed in the open field, too.
