is back for his final season of high school ball with Waukee. A big presence on the football field, Jacobson’s catch-radius is ridiculous, given his long arms and 6’7″ frame. That frame allows him to get up and under opposing linebackers and defensive ends’ pads and manhandle them as a blocker, too.
Throw in his athleticism on top of those traits as a dual-sport athlete that will also play basketball for the Aggies, and Jacobson is a matchup nightmare for any opponent in the state of Iowa. He caught several passes against City High, and should be in line for a massive year as Bakker’s go-to target.

remains without a home at this moment in time. With a top four of Iowa State, Stanford, Texas A&M and Notre Dame, the Waukee product will have his options, with an in-state school, two top-tier educational opportunities and the chance to play in the SEC. A big, smooth-moving athlete, Jacobson has a wide catch-radius that allows him to make plays and serve as a good blocker.
Primed for a big senior year, Jacobson posted 20 catches for 198 yards and five touchdowns last season for the Warriors.

Jacobson was Prep Redzone Iowa’s highest-ranked uncommitted senior prospect at the July 2025 update. It’s not because his options were insignificant. Jacobson officially visited Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Missouri, Stanford and Iowa State. He finished up with the Irish and Cyclones. Jacobson has been deliberate about his recruiting process and continued playing high-level AAU basketball this summer. The interest from top schools for football speaks to his tremendous upside on the gridiron. His athleticism is at a very high level athleticism as evidenced by him being a first-team all-state hooper. Jacobson runs well with a frame capable of adding good weight in college without the loss of agility and quickness. He has long arms and can jump. He could end up being an absolute nightmare in the red zone.

. Jacobson caught 20 passes for 198 yards and 5 touchdowns last season, which all ranked 2nd among Waukee’s passing offense in 2024. Jacobson boasts the size, frame, and physicality to translate as a top TE in the collegiate level, showing great prowess as a run blocker, while showing solid route-running ability despite a limited amount of snaps in the passing game. Jacobson holds a stunning 28 D1 offers heading into his senior season and is ranked as a 4-star recruit. Hopefully, we will get to see Jacobson get more involved in the passing game in his senior season.
