Enjoy!

In the month of June, we're updating all of our prospect rankings on Prep Redzone Oklahoma. We've seen a ton of football this offseason from the 7v7 circuit to camps to most recently with team camps. We kick off our month of ranking updates this week with a look at the 2027 class as they head into their sophomore seasons this fall. Earlier this year, we unveiled the first batch of 2027 rankings with a top 25. This time around, we have a top 50. You can check out the updated rankings right here. In this post, we're putting the spotlight on the guys up front on the line of scrimmage, both offensive and defensive lines.

This breakdown features every offensive and defensive linemen listed in the top 50, with the exception of a few guys like [player_tooltip player_id='473952' first='Joseph' last='Graves'], [player_tooltip player_id='528027' first='Kaeden' last='Penny'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1171159' first='Kyng' last='Golston'] because they was covered earlier this week. Also covered were [player_tooltip player_id='1297664' first='Carter' last='Archer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='933579' first='Kaiden' last='Ford'] back on Monday. Keep it locked in to Prep Redzone Oklahoma every Monday this month for another ranking update!

Star Spencer standout Cadraiann Olds made a big leap up the rankings on this last update and it definitely helps that we saw him in person last month. We watched film of Olds during his freshman season and there was a lot to like but you could also tell that he was still pretty raw, which isn't rare with freshmen. But then we got a chance to see him in action last month at a team camp and our opinion of him got a major bump. First off, it didn't feel like he ever got tired and his motor was one that did not slow down. And the other main thing we noticed about him was his deep bag of moves against opposing offensive linemen. He could beat guys in a variety of ways.

Owasso defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1035135' first='DaWayne' last='Jones'] is a name that really impressed us in his very first varsity game last season against defending champion Bixby. The freshman held his own in that season opener and would have a solid year overall. Fast forward to right now and you look at that Owasso defensive line and there is talent everywhere. Getting on the field and finding those quality reps will be a battle each week but Jones is still a name to watch. He showcased a good skillset last season and working with some outstanding teammates along the defensive line and facing arguably the best offensive line every day at practice, he should only improve moving forward.

Just like with Olds at Star Spencer, Lincoln Christian defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1035134' first='Rain' last='Ragland'] is a player where our opinion of him took a major leap after seeing him in person last month. Ragland just looks bigger than when we saw him last season. Last year, he looked like more of a linebacker, despite playing on the defensive line. This year, he looks like he belongs on the line of scrimmage. He might have added a few inches but it looks like he's also been living in the weight room this offseason. Ragland was really good for the Bulldogs last year, as they captured the state title. And he's already shown improvement so it's exciting to think about his potential this fall.

Coweta offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='734696' first='Hunter' last='Reavis'] has been a name to watch for a little over a year now. He first stood out to us at our Prep Redzone Next camp last April and then has been one of the top performers at our high school camps this year. Reavis had a solid freshman season and we know that the coaches at Coweta are really excited about his potential moving forward. The thing that we like about Reavis is how advanced he is from a skill standpoint and has a really good understanding of the game. He knows how to attack defensive linemen and because of that, he's had success. As he continues to grow and develop physically, he'll become a bigger problem for opponents.

Jenks defensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1297665' first='Luke' last='McInelly'] was a late addition to this 2027 ranking update but he definitely deserves to be mentioned. The Jenks sophomore has been absolutely tearing it up in the last month. From spring ball to various college camps, McInelly has made a significant impression on both his high school coaches and the college coaches working with him at these camps. We're fired up to see what he's able to do on a Jenks defensive line that has talent but there's also room for some new names to step up. That could certainly be a spot for McInelly to become an impact player and breakout defender for the Trojans and their outstanding defense this season.

Stillwater offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1140727' first='Paxton' last='Pitchford'] might be the name we need to see more this season. Pitchford really impressed us back in January while he camped with us down in Texas. He went up against some strong competition and held his own. He was thought of as one of the top guys at his position that afternoon and we're fired up to see what he can do this season. Stillwater's offense has the potential to be an exciting one to watch. And the offensive line does have some strong talent coming back. And Stillwater plays a tough non-district schedule so if Pitchford gets some serious playing time, he'll be going up against some really good competition.
